Self-explanatory question. I don’t recall this being asked in a while so I got curious.

Right now, OKC is sitting at 18 and I’m torn between the 3 SGs they have all around us on the mock: Dwayne Bacon, Luke Kennard, and Terrance Ferguson. Our perimeter D could use some sprucing up, but I’m hoping Josh Huestis gets some run next year and adds that to our bench. Our biggest need though is shooting (29th in the league in 3 point shooting, not great), and I think Kennard will find a niche in the league and be a great shooter/scorer off pump fakes once he adjusts to the speed of the game. I don’t know much about Terrance Ferguson, but from what I’ve read he can either add Kennard’s shooting while also bolstering our defense, or he can be Terrence Ross who I’m not a fan of at all.

For Washington (clarification, only a fan of them as long as John Wall is on the team), they have Miles Bridges going there and I think that’s a great fit. Imagine him running the break with Wall, Beal, and Porter/Oubre Jr. For OKC and Washington, if those guys aren’t available, I don’t think I’d mind them reaching for Johnathan Motley too.

Lakers to tank and retain their pick, use it on Josh Jackson to play the 2. Pg Russell, sg Jackson, sf Ingram, pf Randle, C  Zubac, Nance and Clarkson off bench thats a great young core that would be in contention in 3 years.

Miles Bridges, then move Roberson back to SG and Oladipo off the bench

The guys I like the most are Ball, Smith, Markkanen, Tatum, Fox, Monk and Bacon.

Barring any trades where we acquire a lotto pick, we have a realistic shot to draft Bacon who I personally see becoming close to an all star/all star level player. I think he’s big time.

As long as Markkanen/Rabb are available then either of them will be great fits alongside Whiteside.

would love to see them package their picks to move up and grab rabb or  markkanen but if they stand pat I hope they get bridges who could back up Carroll and probably end up starting at sf..with the second pick like to see them pick Patton as I’m not sold on Bebe or Svi from Kansas and stash him in Europe for a year or two still very young but good size at 6"8 and great spot up shooter

Bulls could use Justin Jackson. I seem to remember another 3rd year player out of UNC who played pretty well for us. Only 1 year older than Josh Jackson (name is a coincidence for this comparison) and puts up similar number.
If not him, I’d gamble on Harry Giles.

Best case scenario win the lottery and get Fultz then get the Lakers pick at 4th overall and get Isaac or Jackson.

Really I would be pretty happy with any two of the top 7 picks to fill out the roster. Malik Monk over Fox considering the Sixers shooting needs.

Portland Trailblazers have two first round picks. With the 13th pick they should take Miles Bridges. Long-term Bridges is a future all-star. He blends his athleticism with a decent shot, and while we might not need another wing, Bridges could be the two ways star we need. With the recently acquired 23rd pick, we should take Devonte Graham. He has a great three-point shot, and we need a backup point guard, so he fits the bill.

Portland now has 3 1st round picks bud! And CJ is basically the back up point. I think it is more imperative that Portland get another capable big man who could hopefully play some defense.

I think the draft is a great opportunity for them to bolster their bench depth. I would love to see them take a chance on a combo guard like PJ Dozier or Edmond Sumner (if he declares). However, while they need an upgrade over Burke and Satoransky, wing depth may end up being a priority if the Wizards anticipate issues re-signing Porter, who’s having a career year. If that’s the case, I’d be fine with them taking someone like Dwayne Bacon or Jaron Blossomgame.

Umm have you been watching oubre. Wing players are incredibly easy to find in FA. The wiz clearly need a backup bigman hopefully rabb, leaf, or maybe swanigan. A combo gaurd like sumner would be great still

Last year I really wanted my Pistons to take Korkmaz instead of Ellenson.

This year I am not sure what is happening to KCP contract extension so they might look at a SG. I would be seriously annoyed if we took Bacon, Kennard, Grayson and prob not too happy if we took Ferguson – he has done nothing to warrant taking in the first round.

I wouldn’t mind Josh Hart. Having said that, there is always one or two players that drop in each draft. I wouldn’t mind Frank N, Bam, Harry Giles, Patton or Jarrett Allen.

Honestly I prefer they package it to acquire another starting wing. The guy I want more than anyone would be Wilson Chandler and I think it could be a realistic get, all though I doubt it happens.
Evan Fournier would be another guy to look at it.

If we hold our pick I really like the outside shooting that Leonard Kennard provides and I think he has a far better all-round game than people think. I saw a Gordon Hayward light which to me is NBA starter potential one day.

Celtics – Fultz or a trade for Jimmy Butler.

Thunder – I wouldn’t mind Dedric Lawson, V.J Beachem or Josh Hart. Honestly I just want someone that can take Kyle Singler’s minutes.

Hard to say where they end up in the draft order considering they’ve probably been the worst team in the NBA over the past 25ish games. Going off DX’s mock:

    At their current spot (12th):

    – Frank Ntilikina (currently slotted at 10)

    – Harry Giles

I don’t like our current draft slot, but I’d be very happy to get Ntilikina and I’d be fine with taking a shot on Giles, though I can’t imagine Milwaukee takes on another young guy with ACL issues.

Where I think we end up drafting (7th or 8th):

    – Jonathan Issac

    – Jayson Tatum

I want to like DeAaron Fox or Malik Monk for the Bucks, but I just don’t think Monk will be anything special in the NBA, and while I like Fox, I’m concerned that his lack of shooting would create horrific spacing on the Bucks.

Although as a Kentucky fan I’d like to see Monk in Philly with Embiid, Simmons, and whoever else they draft this year, he’d be a perfect fit in Milwaukee. Him running on the break with Giannis and Jabari when he comes back would be deadly. He’s just a guy that can fit on any team because of his shooting and athleticism. At worst, to me, he’s JR Smith without the problems

As a Lakers fan, I am really just hoping we hold onto our pick. With that being said, here’s my wish list as of right now.

    1. Fultz- least amount of concerns to me. Multi-demonsional guard who can play the one or two. Would fit nicely with Russell imo.

    2. Jackson- Skill set kind of overlaps with Ingram, but hes just too good to pass up. High basketball iq, extremely versatile player who could eventually guard 4 positions. You take him and worry about fit later.

    3. I have my concerns with him at the next level. I think he needs to go the right team and play a certain way to excel. Thankfully, I feel for what luke Walton is trying to build in LA, he is a perfect fit. I think you could move Russell to SG which may be his more natural position anyway.

The Knicks will likely stay where they’re currently slated in the late lottery. If that’s the case although I’m not too familiar with him as a prospect I Hope Frank Ntilikina is still on the board whenever the Knicks are in the clock. With Kristaps entrenched as the cornerstone, you get him a playmaking running make for what you hope is the next ten years.

But as always a lot will change between now & June with March Maddness on the horizon, and draft workouts plus the combine soon to follow after which we’ll have a better feel for the prospects.

They are currently slotted in the #4 spot of the lottery, and I would love for them to get Dennis Smith Jr. I’ve moved on from Elfrid Payton, and bringing on Dennis Smith Jr would usher a new/different style of play to their backcourt I think is well needed, and would be well received.

If they fall to the 6-7 range on lotto selection night, I would like to see them draft Jonathan Isaac. Not because I think he’s a great fit, but moreso I’m just intrigued by his offensive game and that he could be used a lot of different ways in the league.

Russell & Ingram need to play w/ a Freak Athlete / Star to open up space for them. Praying we hold our pick & land:

    1) Fultz: move D’Lo to SG (He’s just not a high level NBA PG, he’s been basically reduced to a Jump Shooter anyway) & pu8t Ingram at the 3/SF; Randle at the 4/PF & Zubic at the 5/C – it’s something to work with & Fultz would be out Star & maybe then we can attract a Free Agent

    2) Jackson: Incredible team leader, infectious attitude, competetive fire.

    3) Isaac: He’s got the game I thought Ingram would have

I Luv Lonzo Ball but he can not create his own shot. On Phila, Minny or Milwaukee he’s an Amazing piece but on the Lakers he would be another great college player who gets overwhlemed by NBA athleticism & we already have 3 of those guys
