JoeWolf1Who do you think is going to lead the league in reboudning?
I’m going with the darkhorse. Kevin Love for 14.1 rpg

khaled_a_dParticipantwell,Howard is the obvious choice,Love can compete with him but I still give my vote to Howard

TheWizardParticipant13.5 rebounds per game this year! My fantasy C is going to do big things this year.

M-DYMESParticipantOnce DeJuan Blair becomes a full-time starter in SA, its over. But for this season, Ill stick with Howard as a safe pick.

WrecklessParticipantGoing along with you JoeWolf

butidonthavemoneyWell, Boozer is a better rebounder than Noah. Now they have to share the boards, so I don’t see either one leading the NBA.
Maybe Booze gets 11.1 and Noah gets 10.5.
As for leading the NBA, I’d say that Howard is obviously the favorite. David Lee, Kevin Love and Greg Oden are dark horses.

j1232eParticipantCamby has a good shot at the reb. title.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 12:01pm #403895

butidonthavemoneyActually Oden doesn’t stand a chance. He fouls too much.

stanford hoopskevin love. pound for pound hes a better rebounder then howard. before you go crazy think about what im saying. love is a great fundamental rebounder. howard is more of a athletic rebounder. if you give love howards athleticism loves rebounds would go up by a nice margin. but even without that hes close to howard and now he is gonn abe starting and playing major minutes on top of not shareing boards with al jefferson
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 12:03pm #403898
j1232eParticipantI was stating IF oden gets injuried camby has a chance. Because of minutes.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantIf he can remain healthy, Kevin Love should win it.
I’m going Howard again however.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 12:27pm #403913

Mr. 19134ParticipantIf Howard remains heathly he should win it every year. And I think Noah is a better rebounder then Boozer is. But If I had to pick somebody besides Howard I’m gonig with Love.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 12:34pm #403917

butidonthavemoneyThe way I see it, Noah is going to be focusing on blocking shots on defense, which may put him out of position to get defensive rebounds. Boozer, however, is always looking to box out and should get more rebounds than Noah. Noah is a better offensive rebounder, so maybe I mispoke when I said Boozer is the better rebounder. But I do believe that Boozer will get more rebounds than Noah.
Note: Last season Boozer averaged 11.2 rebounds to Noah’s 11.0. Boozer played more minutes though.

LeroyJenkinsParticipantHoward or Love
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 12:58pm #403954

HitsterParticipantDwight Howard is the safe choice with David Lee an excellent dark horse choice. Kevin Love is a great rebounder but with Darko playing around the basket will he be so prolific. A total wildcard could be STAT who will be the dominant big man in NY. Noah and Boozer may take rebounds off each other but should both average 10rpg plus.

OhCanada-ParticipantEveryone who comes to this thread should join our fantasy league. Man up and accept the challenge or give a reason why!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 1:04pm #403961

JoeWolf1^^^ I don’t think Darko is going to effect Love’s rebounding at all, he played along side Jefferson and Darko last year and pulled down 11 in 28 mpg. Love will play more minutes this year and I don’t think Darko is going to effect that.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 1:14pm #403975

Mr. 19134ParticipantYeah Darko will not affect Love’s rebounding one bit, Like Boozer and Noah is a different story I just think Noah is longer with better hops and playing center he will always be around the rim so He may get more rebounds.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 1:16pm #403976

JoeWolf1Noah was pulling down 12 per before his injury. When he came back they were trying to limit him to about 25 mpg so his stats went down a bit. I agree, I think Noah will pull down more,
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 1:24pm #403980

Demarcus OnealParticipantKevin Love should be since he led the league in Rebounds per minutes and the trade of Al Jefferson was meant to give him more playing time so he should lead the league
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 1:39pm #403987
j1232eParticipantshould pull down the same number in utah. replacing boozer!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 2:08pm #403998
jdstormParticipantDwight howard will lead the league because no one else on his team rebounds significantly to take boards away
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 2:08pm #403999
joecheck88Participanti know howard can do it, i know he is getting the minutes, he doesnt get hurt. he is the favorite in my opinion. but i think love and lee would be the next two.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 8:11pm #404130

SmooveKRYPTParticipantI’m say David Lee because of the amount of shots GS takes per game. that high octane offense will give him more opportunities than any other big rebounder gets.
Dwight & Kevin Love will both be right there though…any of the 3 can take it, but i’m gonna go with Lee this year.0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 8:31pm #404133

JNixonParticipantDwight Howard will lead the NBA in boards.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/18/2010 - 11:49pm #404147

theEDGEParticipantWhy no love for the other “Big Al” and I’m talking about the Hawks big man, whio could easily become K-Will 2.0
0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/19/2010 - 4:21am #404150

StF616ParticipantStill Think Dwight Will
Really, The Magic Have No Other Big Man To Get Rebounds From Dwight
Love Can Do It Obviously Hes a Very Good Rebounder
But i expect Dwight to get maybe 13-15 Rebounds a game next season0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/19/2010 - 4:41am #404155

IndianaBasketballParticipantLove is a great rebounder, but he doesn’t have great endurance… He’s not in the greatest shape, so I don’t know if more minutes will necesarily equal more rebounds. Then add in the fact he’ll be relied on to score more with the departure of Al Jefferson, etc.
Howard is my choice. He’s a physical marvel who can go the distance 35-38 minutes per game for 82 games. He’s only missed three games in six seasons. He’s a rebounding machine and I think the rebounding title is his.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/19/2010 - 5:12am #404156

MagikKnickParticipantI think Howard is the obvious choice, and he’ll be leading by a solid 1.5-2.0 rpg
0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/19/2010 - 8:42am #404194

sc0rebuckets11Participantblake griffin..
nah, i’ll take kevin love.
