The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantWith Orlando looking old and miles away from a title could Howard look to leave in the near future, where could he pair up with a young perimeter scorer? If Orlando was forced to trade him where would be a Good fit for Howard, and where can the Magic get the best deal…Since I’m one of the biggest Dwight Howard fans and the resident Philly Homer I’ll throw my Sixers out there first, we could offer Iguadola, Holiday, Hawes, Nocioni(for salaries to match up) and the 16th pick in the draft for Howard and Nelson, the Magic get 5 players for Howard and Nelson, iggy and Jrue Holiday are great starters and Hawes and Nocioni give you depth, they could find a gem with the 16th pick the Sixers give away, the Sixers would pair Howard with Turner and resign Thad to replace Iggy in the lineup, Nelson can run the point for a year until Brand’s contract expires and frees up space to sign a Paul or Williams…What are you guys ideas…I think Turner and Howard would be a pretty nice duo going forward…

Memphis MadnessParticipantSee my "Howard on the Bulls" thread. I think it would work for both teams.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantPlus I can’t see a package the Magic would want from the Bulls, Chicago is pretty much set minus a Sg(2 first rounders and Asik can get a Sgg)…Philly has A blue chip prospect(Holiday) All Star Caliber Player in his prime(Iguadola) young 7 footer(Hawes) Veteran shooter/defender with flexible contract(Nocioni) 16th pick in the draft that could get them a starting Pf(Morris Twins, Thompson, Thompkins, Faried or Bismack)…I could see Orlando making a favorable deal for Howard before it gets ugly…

CalipariParticipantHonestly, Howard will probably have to leave the Magic in order to really get a sidekick who can aid him in a championship chase. His presence on a Nets team that includes Williams could really be special. I know some have thrown around the twin towers idea, but really, if the Nets lure Howard in 2012, what’s stopping them from turning Lopez into a premier perimeter player and some necessary backups? Imagine Howard, Williams and say an Iguodola. That could certainly compete in the east. I feel as if the Nets provide Howard with the best chance of continual success.

CodySLCParticipantI’d like to see D Will sign with the Magic. Now that would be a great duo.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantAs much as Williams and Howard sounds great for the Nets, I don’t think the franchise can shake the stigma that has been there for a few years, on top of top Great big men like Howard dont need franchise point guards, they need elite or near elite Sg play(think Shaq and Penny/Kobe, Hakeem and Clyde or Duncan and Manu) great point guard play is always welcomed but never really a dire need when championship teams build their rosters, think of the point guards that won championships in last 15 years…Just going backwards will tell you a thing or two…Fisher ,Rondo, Parker, Billups, Avery Johnson, Ron Harper, Sam Cassell…Now I may be missing someone but I dont think there’s a top 5 point guard in that short list, not saying it can’t happen but that it hasn’t since the Bad Boy Pistons with Isaiah Thomas …

aamir543ParticipantIf Howard really wants to go to LA, he can. If he goes to Otis Smith and says "Get me out, I want to go to LA, if you dont trade me, I go Vince Carter on you, and if you think trade me elsewhere, I will tell the other suitors that I will be "injured" and unable to play all season." If LA finds out, they will offer Bynum straight up, adn Otis will have ot accept, the Lakers then return to legit contention, and Howard follows Shaq’s footsteps. (Get ready Miami, in 8 years you are up! And you too Suns, and Cleveland and Boston)
