oden07Participant1st. Los Angeles Clippers-i think if baron davis shows up this team could surprise everyone. They got a solid starting lineup. Eric Gordon is gonna improve immensely, Blake Griffin is looking like a dominant force if he stays healthy, and Kaman is one of the underrated players in the NBA. they got ryan gomes who is a solid player on the bench along with randy foye who is pretty good. Not to mention they have aminu who could be a good contributor and could start right away over Rasual Butler.
2nd Sacramento Kings- They won’t be a great team. But they will be a tough out against anyone. They got tyreke evans who is a superstar in the making. Omri Casspi is a solid player on the wing to help out. Udrih has proved can be a solid guard to help out. Cousins should be an absolute beast in the post along with Jason Thompson. Whiteside could possiblly come in and be a defensive force because of his length. Dalembert provides defense and rebounding. Fransisco Garcia can score and hit some threes off of evans assists. Landry is an underrated player who had a chance to win the 6th man award until he was traded.
those are my surprises. Comments?

JoeWolf1Memphis Grizzlies – They teetered around 500% and just out of playoff contention last season, but with another year of improvement for their young stars Rudy Gay and O.J. Mayo the Grizz are looking to make their way to an 8 seed. This is a make of break year for Mike Conley and although I doubt he’ll ever live up to his draft pick, I look for another improved season for him. Marc Gasol is a very solid 5 and Z-Bo is a veteran who flat out produces down low. Thabeet should be better and be able to give more meaningful minutes as Gasol’s backup and Darrell Arthur is finally healthy and looking good in preseason ball. Sam Young and DeMarre Carroll are great role playing forwards and with draft picks Xavier Henry ( who will provide an outside scoring threat off the bench) and Vasquez ( who will be an NBA ready backup pg) the Grizz have a pretty complete roster. They’ll have some major competition for that last spot with teams like Pheonix, the Clippers and others, but they have a better, deeper roster than their team last year that won 40 games in a very competitive Western Conference. I think the Grizzlies will win about 46 games and get the 8th seed in the West.

Mr. 19134ParticipantThe T-Wolves they are playing extremely well in the preseason and look fantastic. I don’t expect them to come close to the playoffs but they are also not looking like the worse team in the league. I think they may got 32-50

torontoraptors10ParticipantDefinitely Minnesota. They are gonna get a top 10 pick but not a top 5. They flat out stole Beasley from the Heat. I wish the Raptors would have got Beasley….

TheWizardParticipantLos Angeles Clippers and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
I really hope that Blake Griffin stays healthy for Del Negro this season and I also hope Kevin Love stays as productive during the season for the Timbervolves. The only piece that Minnesota needs to fill is their center position.

AndyBeng2ParticipantThe Pacers—-I could see Hibbert stepping it up with a good pg in Collison. Granger will be Granger and hopefully McRoberts will improve as well as Hansbrough. Also Paul George will show his versatility and show the poor mans TMac comparisons.

JoeWolf1I was thinking about this post earlier today, because I knew I was very close and…
I called the Grizzlies season win total and seed right on the money before the season started.
Thabeet playing any part in that…not so much, lol
