valentineI thought of this when I saw Gavin Edwards yesterday. Who are some of the future role players in the NBA?

llperezFrom the pac 10:
Michael Dunnigan from Oregon could develop into a decent big man off the bench with size and rebounding.
Klay Thompson from Wash St can be a spot shooter type off someone’s bench.0 - Posted on: Thu, 11/26/2009 - 9:02am #233308

MagikKnickParticipantI think Gani Lawal can be a great role player
Come off of the bench, provide an athletic spark, grab a few rebounds, and some defense

td8118ParticipantGani Lawai is a good choice…He is a high energy guy good rebounder…could do what Hansborough does….I think Larry Sanders could be a good role player as well, also I think if Aldrich was on a good team, he could be a good role player grabbing boards and playing D

JoeWolf1I Think Kyle Singler could be a solid scoring punch off the bench, and Jarvis Varnado is already NBA ready from a defensive standpoint and could easily provide a “Chris Anderson” spark off the bench for years to come

nawlinsParticipantI’d look at the guys who have had long, productive careers but are shortchanged by scouts or mocks because of one specific flaw like height, athleticism, etc.
Just look at guys like Boozer, Hansbrough, West, etc. (there’s a lot of examples, I’m just being lazy). There’s a lot of them that just weren’t meant to make it in the league, but it seems to me like the truly great college players seem to carve some sort of niche for themselves on the next level.
With that said, how about Luke Harangody?
