NO EZ BUCKETSParticipantellis-top 5 scorer in the leage
iggy- much better all-around game than granger
curry-holiday is better on d but curry’s shot is too good
derozan-underrated player and burks hasn’t proved himself yet

Awesome-O-420ParticipantWestbrook – like his size and passing ability more than Ellis
Iggie-defense wins championships, not a lot of guys in league with his defensive abilities
Curry – Tough one, I like Curry’s passing/shooting, but Holiday is solid defensively and both have room to grow, slight preference for Curry
Derozan – We know nothing about Burks. Is there really a choice here?
Wall – I like his passing more than Westbrook. IMO he is a lot like Westbrook but with better court vision and willingness to pass the ball. Only because of Griffins rookie dominance did league forget Wall was 16pts, 8 assists in rookie year – has complete package to become top 10 player in league and challenge for top PG spot.

torukParticipantwestbrook, contributes in points, assists, rebounds and steals more of a complete player.
Granger- really difficult one, granger is more of a star but if already had one i would go with iggy for sure.
curry – better player.
derozan – Mjholmes17 said everything he is a more proven player.
westbrook- right know. in the future wall will be a better player.0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/07/2011 - 3:47pm #565438

Malik-UniversalParticipantRussell Westbrook or Monta Ellis- Westbrook is younger, better right now, and has more potential
Danny Granger or Andre Iguadala?-Can do it all on the court except shoot all that good and is a better defender….. in other words: more VERSATILITY
Jrue Holiday or Stephen Curry?- very hard pick here… holiday is more of a purer point, has better size and length, alot better defender too… but curry can ball, and is a better player right now, but for the future= holiday
Demar Derozan or Alec Burks?- pretty obvs
John Wall or Russell Westbrook?- more of a true PG, westbrook has questionable decision making… just as good of an athlete.. ill take russ now, but wall in the future… sky is the limit for him

BasterdInABasketParticipantRussell Westbrook or Monta Ellis? Westbrook for sure, he’ll eventually learn to play within himself
Danny Granger or Andre Iguadala? Iggy- same as RW vs ME, not the scorer but better all around
Jrue Holiday or Stephen Curry? Curry- Holidays impressed me a lot so far but Curry can flat out ball
Demar Derozan or Alec Burks? Derozan- Kinda hard to pick someone who hasnt even played one minute
John Wall or Russell Westbrook? Wall- both have a big defensive impact but Wall is a lot better playmaker, in a couple years Wall will be the better player. Plus Ill take a great all aorund, playmaking PG over a great shoot first PG everytime.

Scottoant93ParticipantRussell Westbrook or Monta Ellis? I pick westbrook, is a better all around player, scores, gets some assists, rebounds, and most of all defends
Danny Granger or Andre Iguadala? Iggy like above better all around player all he is missing is a jumper
Jrue Holiday or Stephen Curry? Stephen Curry, can score a will, only problem is he is an injury risk. Jrue can surpass him but for now i like curry
Demar Derozan or Alec Burks? Well burks hasn’t played an nba game yet so Derozan.
John Wall or Russell Westbrook? I pick wall just because he is a better pg, and feel he can suprass westbrook once he gets a consistant jumper

Scottoant93ParticipantThe thing about ellis is that he was drafted to a team and coach who never preached defense, if he goes to a contender such as bulls, cletics, lakers, heat, or mavs he would be a good defender.

ilike.panochasParticipantEllis can be a excellent defender when asked or required to. The guy plays extremely hard at both ends and his work ethic is second to none. The guy worked on his game and improved so much, one of the greatest 2nd Round draft picks of all time. He takes pride on having a chip on his shoulder and prove people wrong.
I would choose Wall over Ellis because he has youth on his side. But I would take Ellis over Westbrook because Ellis has one of the best mid range jumpshot in the game and is more efficient scorer than Westbrook. Defensively, Ellis is capable of being at Westbrooks’ level.

aamir543ParticipantI dont want to make a big deal out of any of this. I was jsut goofing around. I actually don’t expect you to notice me or anything like that. On one particular thread, this one when someone complemented you, you sort of insulted the general public, and then I wrote up some helpfull suggestions. I didn’t actually expect you to take that seriously, but I was just joking around when I was making a reference to it.
I am sorry if I have rubbed you the wrong way, and to be honest, latley your posts are good, but I hope you don’t take anything the wrong way, and I apologize if I provoked you, I just want to let you know I have nothing against you, and that it’s nothing personal.

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantMonta Ellis – tremendous scorer, underrated passer, and just needs to learn to play defense.
Danny Granger – good scorer, leader, production has dipped but I’m sure I can get some better play from him.
Stephen Curry- Ton of potential. Great Scorer good passer, solid defensively, has a chance to be a top 5 point guard in the league.
Alec Burks – better defender, more potential.
John Wall- extremely athletic better passer playmaker, and isn’t as much of a ballhog.
