ckelley015ParticipantMy four freshman are Harrison Barnes, Perry Jones, CJ Leslie, and Doug Mcdermott.
Harrison Barnes- I expect him to really be the impact player for this class and be the future #1 pick in the draft. Although I definitely do not think he will have the same level of play as KD and beasley’s freshman years. Expected stats: 18ppg 7rpg 3apg
Perry Jones-Look. Im a Perry Jones fan, not many players have his skills at his size but I really REALLY question his motor and IQ in games. I hope he has a MONSTER year but im highly doubting that right now. Theres no doubt i will be watching just like I am right now:Baylor vs. La Salle. Expected stats : 10ppg 8rpg 4apg
CJ Leslie-My favorite player in this class. Electrifying athlete on offense and a hustler with big time potential on defense. First game (vs tenn tech so dont look into it too much) 21 pts 6 reb 6 blks 3stl 2 ast. I expect him to have alot of stat stuffer lines like this. Not sure how he will fit into the nba as a sf/pf tweener. Expected stats: 16ppg 7rpg 3bpg 2spg
Doug Mcdermott-Not a very known prospect NBA-wise, and isnt an nba prospect right now. But being an Omaha native and Creighton bball fan, I have to be excited about this Iowan who took the role of 2nd best player on Harrison Barnes’s Ames basketball team. I think this kid could potentially be the MVC POY once or twice before hes through. AND WHO KNOWS (look at Anthony Tolliver and Kyle Korver) – possibly get a shot in the NBA from a midmajor like Creighton. Expected Stats : 13ppg 5 rpg 2apg

Toronto16ParticipantPerry Jones, Kyrie Irving, Harrison Barnes, Jared Sullinger
Jones – I know he will be a project, but I think he is going to be the next big thing in the NBA
Irving – The Raptors NEED this guy. Raptors are missing a point guard in the worst way and I think Irving wold make our team great.
Barnes – The likely #1 pick, only cause its the safest pick.
Jared Sullinger – Personally I think everyone is over looking this guy, he is extremely talented.

cabbycabParticipantI apologize in belaboring this topic, but I know that most of you guys are extremely high on Harrison Barnes. I realize that he is a good player and from all accounts a "good kid” with a good work ethic. But is he a can’t miss future NBA superstar worthy of pick numero uno? He is being compared to Luol Deng who is good, but not a superstar. Maybe this guy will surprise me, but NBA has alot of good players and I have a hard time seeing him excel among the elites in the league.

stanford hoopsI’ll be watching jones who looks like a less polished Anthony Randolph ( Anthony is a better ball handler, scorer, shooter and was young at the same stage yet some think Perry will be a super star. Go figure)
Jared sullinger because unlike jones he is a straight beast
Dwight Powell who started at the three last night and didn’t look half bad
Josh huestis who looked like Shane barrier with his defense last night and hakkem warrick with his dunk but needs to drive more on offense

lalailaParticipantagree with stanford..those 280plus pounds are only reason why i’m still not saying he has the chance to fight to be a prize in the draft..he is BEAST at age of 18(and not "only" beast but veeery skilled too)

jeff416ParticipantWill Barton- He’s injured right now, but once he gets healthy he will be a beast. He also plays for my favorite team.
Josh Selby- Love his game, very athletic and fun to watch, can’t wait until he ‘s elligible.
Joe Jackson- He is very fast and can really score, and he is also from Memphis and plays for Memphis.
Jared Sullinger- He is easily the best big man in college basketball to me. He will dominate all year.

parkerjParticipantand now for something completely different
Ray McCallum–lots of hype for a guy in the Horizon League…definitely interested to see how he plays for the rest of the year
Vander Blue–Went to the same high school as me (and Wesley Matthews)…despite the fact that his teams were MUCH more talented than Matthews’, he reminded me of Matthews with how much better he was than everyone on the court…needless to say, i have VERY high expectations for him
Josh Gasser–another guy I watched a lot of in High School…was hoping he wouldn’t get a Wisconsin offer so my alma mater was the only school he could go to to stay "in-state"…his debut was phenomenal…i’m definitely excited to see how he progresses
Alex Kirk–now to get out of the midwest, Kirk was a 4* post recruit for the University of New Mexico…i’m thining of going to grad school there, and after the way he played in his debut i’m definitely excited about his future

delfamParticipantKendall Marshall: just love his passing ability and a good floor general, think he could be very good in the future
Aaron Brown(Temple): I have season tickets so I’ll see him a lot, he is a stud in the making and can do everything and played for a good coach at St. Benedicts.
Doron Lamb: this guy has the best mid-range game I’ve seen since Rip, he reminds me of him a lot, if he learns how to defend SG’s he could be special.
Jereme Richmond: guy has so much talent, think he can be an elite scoring SG or SF in the NBA, once he gets more PT he is going to be a stud for Illinois.

hiphopismylifeParticipantReally tough to narrow it down to four. Nothing excites me more about the college game than seeing how recruits live up to the expectations. my guys are Brandon Knight, Kyrie Irving, Harrison Barnes, and Renardo Sidney.
Brandon Knight- Reminds me so much of OJ Mayo. Started out as the top guy in the class as a freshman because he was already physically maturing. As other guards caught up, scouts soured on Knight a little bit. He is not the point guard that John Wall is by any means, but I expect about 18 ppg out of him this year. He can shoot and, very importantly, will be a factor in the half-court game with his tight handle and ability to score.
Kyrie Irving-So much fun to watch. A true floor general with a calm demeanor who really exploded his last year as a recruit. In the age of elite one and done pg’s, he brings a change of pace as a guy not just recognized for being a physical marvel. Hard to predict his stats but how about 15 ppg, 6 apg?
Harrison Barnes- I wasn’t terribly high on him until the spring all star games last year. The fact that he was clearly head and shoulders above the other prospects in both All-American games really showed me something. I see about 20 and 5 for Barnes.
Renardo Sidney-World class talent. With the work ethic of three guys mentioned above he would be the top pick whenever he decided to come out. Talented mix of size, real explosiveness, and perimeter skills. However with his constant weight and conditioning issues, and questionable focus, I have no idea what to expect. We could see Demarcus Cousins-type production or he could really struggle. I cant wait for him to finally suit up though.

stanford hoopsAgreed barnes was head and shoulders ahead of everyone in the allstar games except sullinger
Kyrie Irving won’t be on the all American teams. He’s not better then jimmer ferdette, nolansmith, dunn,Freeman, etwan Moore, kalin Lucas
I expect barnes to compete for one of the spots but I fully expect sullinger to grab a spot
