goldenshotsParticipantI would take Reke and Cousins just b/c Tyreke Is proven, while Griffin is not.
Yes Cousins isnt proven either, but if Griffin/Cousins cancel each other out (and lets assume they r equal players ATM), then Tyreke > Gordon, so you have to go with Tyreke.
BUT if I was to take based on POTENTIAL, Gordon can turn out to be a very solid pro, and Griffin could turn out to be a monster, so I would have to go with that.
BUT as of now,if I had to pick one, I would go with Tyreke/Cousins

Mr. 19134ParticipantNews flash the Lakers have no young talent that are going to be studs besides Bynum whose built like peanut brittle, are over the cap, and won’t have a good draft pick for a few years and Kobe is fighting Father Time so good luck.
And I take Reke and Cousins despite the fact I think Griffin will be the best player out of the four.

llperezlakers will ride this unit for another 4 years then just sign guys like reke, cousins, griffin and gordan when they are in their prime. But getting back to the question, il take tyreke cousins although it is close.

mkoba24ParticipantU saying that they can’t find nobody 2 replaced them nah, its the Lakers who going past up coming 2 da real team of L.A , they might have couple bad year at first, but they going bounds back , in dat 10 year time period there will be a lot of dose contracts expiring free up cap space.
And once again the Lakers will rule over the league

Mr. 19134ParticipantWhose gonna past up coming 2 da real team of LA what does that even mean? And the Lakers will rule over the league again. The Lakers have been so fortunate to get players like Magic, Kobe, and Shaq and other stars followed suit to play with them. But it’s gonna be hard finding another Kobe. He doesn’t come along too often. In like there will never be another Mike there will also never be another Kobe.

NYK2010Participant4 years thats pushing it a little but based on the success they’ve had I can see it. Problem is Kobe isn’t your average 32 yr old he’s played a lot of games, esp. playoffs. Gasols and Odom should be fine. Fisher at 36 not sure how much he has left. If the hardcap goes through the Lakers won’t be able to sign anyone significant players for 2 yrs and the owner is already looking to cut payroll. I’m surprised Sasha Vujacic or Luke Walton haven’t been in a deal to drop some salary. The team should stay the same after 2 years, Bynum if he continues with this injury bug won’t be resigned or if he is def. not at 15 plus mill a year. Phil Jax might coach 2 more yrs but after that he’ll most likely retire esp. with an older team.
More than likely the Lakers will somehow pull off a big trade moving expiring contracts for a quality player. Bynum, Barnes, and Shannon Brown are up in 2 years, and the following season Walton all could be moved in their final yr.
As for the duo for the next 10 years, seems that Gordon and Griffin would have better basketball skills. Tyreke and Cousins better athletic players, if Tyreke gets a consistent jumper he could be a top perimeter player. I’ll probably go with the Tyreke and Cousins I’m not a huge fan of the undersized Gordon but many like his game. Also the Clips usually do something to screw up their team and he doesn’t get enough shots a game. Also the Clips have Baron Davis who’s kind of a ball hog at times, his shots attempts have dropped but he still takes too many 3’s and his turnovers are a problem.

hiphopismylifeParticipantGreat question seriously. It’s close but I would take Cousins and Evans solely on the injury history of Griffin and Gordon

sacphil_08ParticipantWith cousins having the potential to become a top 5 center in the next 5 years and tyreke developing a jumper how do you not choose them? The threat of tyreke shooting a jumper will force you to play up and then its your worst nightmare trying to stop him. Then you have the opposing teams bigs run at him where he can drop it off to cousins or even if he goes up and misses cousins is an absolute vacuum when it comes to rebounding/offensive rebounding. Gordon has a great jumper, blake has potential to become a great 4 but he’s undersized as is gordon at the 2 position. And like someone else previously mentioned, they play for the clippers where they always find a way to screw up what they have going good for them
