Lotto StudParticipantI could’ve sworn no one on the forum really likes Teague over Marshall and thinks he should have returned. Since today I’ve been seeing Teague to Houston becoming a fad which leads me to wonder why I got bashed for him going to Boston.
Are there any links out to Houston considering Teague?

MJBrownParticipantIts’ funny you say that. I was just thinking that Teague is going to be that guy that goes earlier than anyone has projected. I can’t say I’d be overly suprised if he went 16 to Houston. They could be down a pg. He was the #1 rated pg in his class last year and GM’s have long memories. What an amazing season he had for himself if you think about it. The point guard of the championship team. Put up good numbers and made sure everyone else did too. Isn’t that the what an NBA pg is supposed to do? Win, look good doing it, and help others get theirs!!!

Lotto StudParticipantI agree because I’ve always been high on him.

TMoney617ParticipantI think it’s because of the uncertainty with Kyle Lowry and Goran Dragic and the fact that Teague’s combine numbers were very impressive.

Lotto StudParticipantCould we say this pick is a lock?

MJBrownParticipantFar from it.

FastAndFuriousParticipantI just don’t get why people are so down on Teague………..
His brother(Jeff Teague) is already in the NBA and i’m pretty sure he’s giving him pointers and working out with him back in Indy.
He was rated the top PG in his class
MCD All-American
Top 5 player overall in HS
Went to Kentucky and struggled, because he never had to be a true point..BUT turned it around and got a National Championship and only lost 2 games in the process(38-2) and made sure everyone shined and now all of them are going to the NBA, which means he basically already has ran an NBA team.
And to top it all off he tested out as the most athletic PG at the combine.
Don’t get it.
Like I’ve been saying from Game 1, he’s still the best PG in the 2012 NBA Draft in my eyes and has the most potential.

Lotto StudParticipantI’m not surprised come draft day if he is higher then many expect. If he goes lottery bound I’m a happy camper.

GrandfiNalley101ParticipantHe did develope nicely this season and seems to have all the tools. However, I think it will take him a while to adjust to the league. He may go to the Rockets but I don’t think he goes 16. I have also noticed and agree with the gaurds moving up in the draft. I don’t like taking a big just to get a big body. I can see Beal, Lillard, Rivers, J.Lamb, Waiters and Ross all going in the Lottery which will push some of the bigs down quite a bit. I think it would leave potential types in PJIII and Moultrie, bigs like Zeller, Henson, Sullinger and past lotto lock Terrence Jones down where they could come in and realize there potential with playoff teams and find there roles. I like this draft not that I think there will be a whole lot of stars but I do like the overall depth. I see several second options and a few guys that can help right away getting overlooked do to potential (J.Taylor, A.Nicholson, J. Cunnigham to name 3). We could see guys going in the secound round and outdoing guys drafted 20 slots ahead of them, it’s just great depth. Like I said no sure-fire stars but a bunch of guys who can play and fill roles immediatley.

FastAndFuriousParticipantSo Damian Lillard knows how to run a team?
No
Teague did a damn good enough job winning a national championship I’d say, and making 5 other NBA players happy along the way.
