Leading the eastern conference in wins, bagging the number 1 seed to the playoffs are the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks were on a roll this past season and in these playoffs as well but as their star player Giannis Antetokounmpo got injured, all hopes had then been lost. The Bucks had no problem sweeping the Orlando Magic in the first round but injuries to their MVP led them to lose the series to the Miami Heat in the second round of the playoffs.

The Milwaukee Bucks have one of the more all-around starting line-ups in the NBA. Starting at shooting guard is their young rookie Donte DiVincenzo who will surely flourish under the wing of sharpshooter Kyle Korver, who is a veteran shooter in the NBA.

Next we have their bigman, Brook Lopez. Funny thing, both the Lopez brothers play for the Bucks and are exceptionally well at what they do. Though both of them can protect the rim and rebound, Brook has the ability to stretch the floor and shoot 3’s which in turn help other players create space.

The Bucks are also the team that had drafted Kareem Abdul Jabbar number 1 overall in the 1969 draft. Bucks front office made a few changes and got Oscar Robertson from the Sacramento Kings which was a smart move as this duo got Milwaukee their only NBA championship so far in 1971.

The Bucks may have been knocked out of these playoffs but will definitely make an even stronger run towards the title from the very next season.

Here’s a detailed analysis about the Milwaukee Bucks: https://www.chaseyoursport.com/Basketball/the-Milwaukee-Bucks-next-season/2034

Nice read. Bucks failure to make it to the finals. Didn’t surprise me at all. Middleton & Bledsoe r nice players But Bucks need a solid number 2 guy or Giannis is gone. Parker was expected to be that kind of player. Marques Johnson, Bob Lanier & Terry Cummings should’ve been included on your list of Past Superstars.

Stay the course. Why did the let brogdon walk? Bledsoe is a fantastic 6th man because he doesn’t have leadership.

Bucks shouldn’t overreact to what happened in the highly unusual “Bubble.” If they run it back with the same team they should feel good about that. They’ve proven they can claim the top seed with this team and with home court advantage in every series the Bucks might have been champs.

What they really need to seal the deal is a third 18-ppg scorer who can create his own buckets and score in multiple ways. They had that in Brogdon and losing him really hurt. And they don’t really have the assets to bring a player like that in without breaking up the core of their elite defense. Their best bet might be to give DiVincenzo more minutes and hope he can be that guy.

If the Nuggets don’t bring back Millsap I think he would be a great use of the Bucks’ mid-level exception.
