Mr. BasketballParticipantclippers: TPE (by far the biggest chip in the sessions race). the bucks are looking to save money so a swap of telfair and the clippers TPE for sessions sounds like their best bet at saving money and still getting a young pg out of it.
knicks: im not sure. the bucks don’t want duhon cause they want to save money but he would not do that. other than im not sure what could be offered.
thunder: ?

JNixonParticipantPhilly: Andre Miller or Sammie Dalembert…

HaleParticipantBias once again.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:43am #186362

MagikKnickParticipantIt wouldnt be a bad investment in Duhon..
It would be 1 season, because Duhons an expiring, and it gives BJennings an extra season to develop
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:46am #186370
the microwaveParticipantanother sessions post..if im philly i wouldnt move anyone but willie green for him.. Lou – no way… If it meant taking Sessions, id rather just keep andre miller
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:46am #186373

Mr. BasketballParticipantthis is not biased. the bucks according to sources have said that they don’t want duhon in return. plus, by not putting much info on the knicks, thunder stuff i was just suggesting other posters say ideas since i don’t know what they could offer since i don’t watch them play very often.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:48am #186379

HaleParticipantclippers: TPE (by far the biggest chip in the sessions race). That is biased. The biggest chip is a starting job that NY is offering.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:51am #186388
Basketballfuture22ParticipantPeople are crazy…why not add Duhon and his 6 mil expiring contract?
NY and Milwaukee-
Larry Hughes and cash to Milwaukee for Ramon Sessions and Kurt Thomas. That gives you a 12 mil expiring contract! Allows you to add and build around Andrew Bogut and Brandon Jennings
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:53am #186393

Mr. BasketballParticipantyupyup: i mean in regards t trading to milwaukee. if the knicks can’t work out a Sign and trade with the bucks before an offer sheet, ramon won’t sign it. the clippers have the best package for the bucks since they want to save money. argue that.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:54am #186398

knicksfreakParticipantDuhon doesnt make 6 million. Not even close. Just over 2.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:54am #186399

HaleParticipantOn that note, you are correct.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:54am #186401

Mr. BasketballParticipantQGotham15: the knicks want 2010 cap space, they would not do that…
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:55am #186404

Mr. BasketballParticipantu still have not given me a legit example of me being biased.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:57am #186411

HaleParticipantI can’t remember all those topics you posted months ago. I remember the Shaq Kobe to Griffin Gordon. Complete joke. I think you called the Clippers is the next Blazers. Not true. You overrate my boy DeAndre Jordan a little bit too.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:58am #186415
bkballerParticipantdon’t the knicks still have mobley’s insurance covered contract? That would save the bucks about 10 million
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 10:59am #186417

Mr. BasketballParticipanti did not call the clippers the next blazers. i posted an ESPN article that said that. i did not say that myself or agree with it. i think DJ has the potential to be a great center one day, however i know he is not currently, thats not biased. next.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:00am #186420

Mr. BasketballParticipantbkballer: the knicks won’t trade a 2010 expiring contract…
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:00am #186421

RickyRubio9ParticipantLou Williams is the real deal, love that kid’s game.
He’s young too and if Andre is gone, look for him to step up. I’d put him on Most Improved Award Watch, only if Miller isn’t resigned.0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:01am #186425

HaleParticipantI like DJ, I think he will be good but you put him ahead of other centers like Bynum and others I don’t remember. You keep ignoring the Kobe Shaq one, and I really don’t care to look up things you have posted in the past. We all know your biased, at least you are committed to your team though.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:06am #186449

Mr. BasketballParticipantim not anymore biased then u are to ur team. its just u don’t bring up your team as much so it does not show. the kobe shaq one was one post. i already said that was biased, but that is one post. i think DJ can be better than bynum (he has the potential), but right now he is not better. anything else?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:07am #186452

Lemons4LifeParticipantI see where Iguodala was biased on the second post, but Sessions would be good for Philly.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:07am #186454
bkballerParticipantclipps: sure they will as long as the only contract past 2010 that they take on is ramon’s
0- Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:11am #186471

cp5ParticipantShould do something that sends David Lee to bucks and Sessions to NY.

the microwaveParticipantphilly was worst in nba in 3 pt %… we dont need sessions, we need shooters..
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:10am #186468

Mr. BasketballParticipantnot true bkballer. they want to have enough two bring in two big names. as it is now, two would be tough. no point in making it impossible with that trade.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:11am #186473

RickyRubio9ParticipantI think he will come out better then Bynum if given the chance, but the key word IF. They still have a couple of centers ahead of him. In another year or two their team looks scary and young.
PG – Telfair, Taylor
SG – Eric Gordon
SF – Al, Novak
PF – Griffin
C – Jordan/Kaman
Griffin and Jordan should be a beastly combo.
I think Jordan can lead the leagues in rebounding one year, yes ahead of DWIGHT0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:11am #186475

HaleParticipantWhen have you heard me biased about the Suns, Bulls, Bucks or even Cavs for that matter?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:12am #186477
bkballerParticipantI think the knicks are a perfect fit for sessions they are getting younger and wants these guys to grow together. They are a run and gun team with a bunch of people who love to shoot, so all sessions has to do is push the ball up and make nice passes and occasionally get to the basket. Look for him to put up very good numbers in that situation (16,9) if duhon can do decent this kid is going to be a stud.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:13am #186481

RickyRubio9ParticipantYou are a fan of all those teams?
I know I am biased at times when it comes to discussing anything involving the Rockets. I try not to be, but I sometimes do it without trying.0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:14am #186482
bkballerParticipantClippers what you seem to miss is that if they are willing to sign him straight up, why wouldnt they be willing to trade an expiring contract for him….its pretty much the SAME thing once 2010 comes around. Wanting to sign stars is great, but they need a decent point guard.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:15am #186484

HaleParticipantI put it in order of my favorite teams.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:15am #186485
Basketballfuture22ParticipantThe Knicks are willing to take some cap space…why do you think they want sessions? Thomas makes 3 mill so you would have to edit that deal
Al Harrington and Joe Crawford to Milwaukee for Kurt Thomas and Amir Johnson
And Knicksfreak- Duhon makes 6 million this year, check espn.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:16am #186490

Mr. BasketballParticipantyupyup: im saying if u were to discuss them more frequently, then u would be biased in ur arguements sometimes. also, if u are a fan of that many teams u tend to be less biased since u don’t follow each as much as someone that follows one very closely.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:17am #186492

knicksfreakParticipantClippers. If they are willing to sign him then whats the difference? Either way they would have Sessions, Chandler, Gallinari, Curry, and Jeffries under contract after the ’09-’10 season.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:17am #186493

RickyRubio9ParticipantThe best website I found is Hoopshype.com. Then click on Salaries. Amazing information.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:17am #186495

Mr. BasketballParticipantwhat ur missing is that the MLE does not count against their 2010 cap space…
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:20am #186510
bkballerParticipantthat was not my point at all. My point is that giving an expiring contract to the bucks has no effect on our plans since it will be off the books anyways. You asked what the knicks can trade for sessions and then said they wouldnt give up expirings. that makes no sense because regardless once 2010 comes around those contracts are gone so whether we had them or the bucks had them it will not affect the knicks.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:21am #186512
Basketballfuture22ParticipantEither way they would have Sessions, Chandler, Gallinari, Curry, and Jeffries under contract after the ’09-’10 season.
dont forget Hill and Douglas
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:23am #186520

knicksfreakParticipantThats true Q. I havent adjusted
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:23am #186521
bkballerParticipantdamnn sessions, chandler, gallo, hill, douglas if that happens i will be very excited lol. Whens the last time you can say the knicks had so much young talent.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:24am #186523

knicksfreakParticipantYeah. It would be really interesting if Darko had a solid season too.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:25am #186527
bkballerParticipanttrue i forgot about him too i think he can be solid, and if we keep lee thats a lot of nice young players who have one more year to develop for whoever knicks bring in through free agency
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:28am #186539

Mr. BasketballParticipantwhat about if the clippers got sessions…
young talent:
pg: sessions, telfair, taylor
sg: eric gordon
sf: al thornton
pf: blake griffin, craig smith (he is young)
c: deandre jordan, chris kaman (he is young)0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:28am #186541
Basketballfuture22ParticipantWhy would Sessions go to LAC to be a backup? The Knicks are gonna offer a 5 year deal. By the time he’s a FA again, he would be 28….don’t you think he would wanna show people he’s a legit starter instead of a backup who maybe a starter?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:32am #186552

Mr. BasketballParticipanthe would because:
1. the market, LA is LA no matter the team.
2. the weather
3. better young core
4. better current team on paper (don’t even try to argue this)
5. both teams are offering the exact same deal.
6. he could learn a lot from baron davis
7. he would still get starter minutes. (32 minutes)
8. the upgrade in talent could increase his assists.0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:34am #186558

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantI would probably trade bayless for sessions. Maybe even include a future 2nd round pick.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:34am #186560
ckowalskiParticipantor maybe he wouldn’t go because they just paid 60 million for baron davis? just a thought haha. unless this hypothetical situation involves trading baron
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:35am #186566
bkballerParticipantclippers do have a nice young team that is definitely on their way up and might even compete for a playoff spot this year. However i dont see why they would want sessions right now and why sessions would want to go there. you guys have an abundance of point guards, i truly believe that baron can have a breakout season, telfair is still young and deserves minutes to improve, and mardy is actually a very decent back up i always thought he had potential to be an ok player in this league.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:37am #186570

Mr. BasketballParticipanttelfair will get like 8 minutes a game if we get sessions. thats enough to prove himself. its like what shannon brown got.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:39am #186571
Basketballfuture22Participant1. The Knicks are the best in NY. The Clippers are 2nd in LA and 4th and Cal(Lakers, Kings, Bruins)
2. you don’t have to live in NY
3. Yea but you would have to battle with Mike Taylor for backup time
4. True..but we have a better coach!
5. But NY is offering a starting job
6. Baron Davis cant teach no one, they are not the same type players
7. If Davis is healthy, he wont see 25 min per game
8.Same thing if he goes to NY
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:40am #186575
bkballerParticipant1) the market is no better than the NY if not a little worse
2) you guys are still the laker’s little brothers in the city anyways
3) You guys have one of the worst coaches in basketball meanwhile knicks have the coach that gets the best numbers out of people.
4) He is an east coast guy and played in milwuakee which is colder than ny
5) He gets to be a leader and run a fast paced team which is perfect for his skill set.
6) His numbers will be better here, leading to better contract next time
7) Knicks have almost as much young talent as clips, while they also will continue to improve with free agents in the near future.
8) I dont wana hear this clips are exteremely talented nonsense until they win more than 25 games.0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:45am #186585

Mr. BasketballParticipantQgotham
1. clippers are second in LA idiot. u don’t live in LA so u would not know.
2. thats stupid. the whole northeast has worse weather than LA. LA probably has the best weather.
3. mike taylor in behind telfair on the depth chart now.
5. so…minutes are minutes.
6. yes he can, thats just stupid.
7. WOW…
8. not as much tho.0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:46am #186593
Basketballfuture22ParticipantClippers…im questioning your B-Ball knowledge because you called Telfair a good young PG
just admit…your biased.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 11:50am #186606
bkballerParticipant1. clippers are second in LA idiot. u don’t live in LA so u would not know.
he said second. are you disagreeing with him saying they are first? lol i doubt that you guys play in the same arena and league but your tickets are cheaper haha. Your weather is not the BEST, its what people like LA is very dry and humid and very dusty with a bunch of earthquakes. NY actually has a nice balance, yes the winters are chilly but a lot of people like having weather thats not always the same and the northeast varies new york is a lot warmer than milwuakee. No way sessions gets 30+ minutes with a healthy baron thats just ridiculous, sessions can only play the 1. And minutes are not minutes he can play 35 in ny and start or come off the bench and play 25 in la, thats a big difference for a young guard.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 12:20pm #186675

knicksfreakParticipantNo way that Sessions would average more assists on the Clippers than the Knicks. Duhon averaged 7.2 and dished out 22 in a single game. Nash went from being a “combo guard” to being “one of the greatest assisters ever” under D’Antoni.
Sessions is going to play for his former AAU coach. The Knicks have an inside line.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 12:23pm #186685

Mr. BasketballParticipanti didn’t mean an all-star potential young guy, i meant a solid young pg with the potential to be a very good backup pg. if the bucks are rebuilding they should want role players and he could be one along with kurt thomas, bowen, and amir johnson.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 12:25pm #186694

Mr. BasketballParticipantthats just stupid. LA does not have the best weather…uh ya it does. warm weather all year long. dusty? wtf?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 12:39pm #186718
bkballerParticipantdusty may have been a bad choice of words lol but i definitely would not prefer LA to NY and a lot of people feel that way. I have family and friends that lived out there and hated it and moved back. Yes i have been there. LA is cool, but there’s no place in the world like NYC. Again just because its hot doesn’t necessarily mean BEST weather. I enjoy having different seasons and sometimes having chilly weather and summers in New York are just as hot.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/21/2009 - 1:34pm #186812
Basketballfuture22ParticipantThe NY Knicks are the biggest basketball market on the East Coast
