Since I expect the Sixers to be in total sell mode the closer we get to the trade dead line what teams do you guys think would be good fits for Turner and Young?
Evan Turner is finally starting to show some promise now that Doug Collins is gone. Although he believes he’s way better than he actually is, some teams could use a good ball handling 6’7 guy who can rebound and get you 15 plus points a game.
Thaddeus Young is a guy I’d love to keep but I’m sure he’s done as a Sixer. He’s the type of guy young players can learn from. He gets better every year and keeps adding a new dimension to his game. I’m sure he can help any playoff team.

Young and Turner for Josh Smith. It works.

Young might be good for many teams, he does a lot of things and looks like a good guy. It’s tougher for Turner because he’s an inefficient scorer and ball dominant wings without 3 point range, nor insane athleticism and defensive skills aren’t that popular in the league right now.

As a Spurs fan, id love to see Young in black and silver. I dont know what or if we have enough to get him but he would be a nice stretch-4 to guard Durant, Lebron, etc.

why trade either if you can keep them? You have a core of MCW, Turner, Young, Hawes, Noel to add with a high pick in a deep draft. You can move one or both after the draft and see who you draft.

I think what they are looking at  for either of these guys would be picks. I think Thad has the better value and I’m hearing the Suns may have some interest. If you can get their first rounder or the wizards pick they have (16-25) and maybe take on an expiring contract i’d do it. The big question is how will the person you draft 16-25 pan out? would they be better than thad? the answer is probably not but when thad leaves after his contract up because the sixers are not going to pay him iggy money, then i’d say go for it now and get something in return while his stock is at the highest it’s ever going to be. great leader and hustle player but it’s going to be a new team the next few years and that team will mold it’s own new leaders.

I’m not in give away mode and I’m not interested in picks from 15 on down.  To me these are proven guys, not stars, but good.  Would you trade Thad for Doug McDermott ?  Not me.
