RicoParticipantI could see LeBron’s tenure with the Lakers ending up a lot like Kobe’s final years. Struggling to convince other stars to commit to playing there with him, his contract taking up 40% of their cap space, and finally his body giving out on him because of all that milage.

MopgrassParticipantHonestly, I think they should have gotten Randle over any of those new, non-LeBron free agents. At least Randle works hard enough to learn how to shoot. And for $9 million a year he’s gone?
Where is the shooting? They signed no new shooters. Except LeBron. They know how LeBron works, right?Overpay for Avery Bradley or something.
They are ignoring the team chemistry Walton worked so hard to achieve and ignoring the style that Walton was starting to get going.

BigChamp12ParticipantThe moves aren’t that bad. I didn’t understand them at first, but imo they have put together a competitive team. Randle didn’t fit anymore to me. I think Rondo was a good move. They needed vets and great defenders. Rondo will compete with Lonzo, may even win the starting job. He has chmpionship DNA and Lonzo will benefit greatly having Rondo there. You still have Kuzma and Ingram who have shown they can score the ball. Throw Lance and KCP in there, capabale scorers, great defenders. Then add Lebron, the best player in the game and still good for 25-30 a game. They only loss Randle from last season’s team. I think the Lakers just stockpiled talntd veteran defenders to go with their talented scoring minded young guys.
The only spot I’m concerned about is the Post. I don’t think Mcgee is a starter but for now he’s the best on the roster. I thought the Lakers would get Nerlens Noel but he chose OKC. This team was looking very good to me until Warriors added Cousins. Smh… Lakers may have to swallow their pride and give Dwight the vet minimum. He’s the best FA big out there.

HitsterParticipantD12 back to the Lakers would have some mutual benefit to it and if LBJ started saying he’d like him there then Lakers could well make a move. But how motivated D12 would be on a one year deal having pocketed a buyout I do wonder.

Andv1 WaitingParticipantLebron and co are waiting until 2019 to make their big splash if you get what I mean lol…
I could see Lebron going out and recruting any of the following:
Kawhi-Says he wants to go their and if he is Healthy they should look there.
Klay-He may want to be the 2nd option again vs 3rd or 4th or who knows on GSW.
Jimmy butler-He may want to play with players that want to win as much as he does and could recruit Kyrie if Bron wanted him to.
A.D-If A.D is like you let Boogie go for a bag of dorritos I could see him saying see ya and demanding a trade.
Kyrie-Now that Lebron is locked up and he won’t have to deal with the will he won’t he be staying he could recruit Butler and they could have a young core to go with them ala the GSW model…Imagine Insert Center name here, Then either one of Kuzma or bron at PF,SF Ingram or Bron, Sg Butler or Irving and PG Irving or Ball…
K.D-A wild card but he may do a I always wanted to play with Lebron/in L.A.
