T-Wolvesfan13ParticipantI am just wondering if you guys have any other sports you play/love. And did you play them at the college level? Because my first love is football. I loved hitting people and the rush i got when i played! I think i was better at it too lol. But i won’t be playing it in college. But i will be playing rugby.

omphalosParticipantBeing too tall, that must be a nice feeling haha. I’ve played in a few squash tournaments over the years and I dabbled in things like Rugby, Futsal and Tennis. Basketball has always been my favourite sport though.

Da1potParticipantBasketball is my main sport, but baseball is my first love and the first sport I really got into. I like just about all sports though except for curling and sychronized swimming, which i really do not consider sports at all…

ChewyParticipant3 yrs college soccer.
Being tall isn’t always a good thing in soccer. The ball is almost always on the ground and smaller defenders could get their hips under yours while fighting for position.

RafterParticipantI played for two football (soccer) teams, both on the wing. I had to stop going because i moved house and the trip to get to training and the matches were longer then the events altogether lol.
I played a bit of tennis, just mess around, i was terrible at it.

ghettosermonParticipantI lettered in football 3 years, I started at linebacker my last two years. I also wrestled 4 years, right now I do bjj and kickboxing just kind of leisurely. I got some junior college football scholarship offers but Kind of realized that football probably wouldn’t take me anywhere, and I got into the university I wanted to go to academically, so I decided to drop sports competitively.

llperezi always messed around with other sports with my friends. But basketball was the only thing i played seriously. ALthough i did play soccer for 5 years from ages 5-10 in leagues, but i was so young that hardly counts. I also was in a bwoling league for 4 years. I had about a 150 average.

JoeWolf1I always loved basketball the most, but I was better at track. I was a high jumper and triple jumper and actually got one D1 letter from Wichita State to high jump (although probably a walk on offer if I would have pursued it at WSU) as well as a bunch from Juco’s and D2 schools, but I was young and was kind of burt out from playing 3 sports through 4 years of high school ( I also ran cross country to get in shape for basketball, but a big part of that was because it was co-ed and a lot of really cute girls ran cross country at my school, lol ) I would have loved to play college basketball but I could have walked on to two NAIA schools, but with no scholarship it was way to expensive to make sense at the time. I’m also a pretty good bowler, lol.

TRC1991ParticipantWow none of you guys play my sport?!
I played lacrosse in high school, a sport that is growing rapidly across the nation and is a combination of soccer and basketball so i HAD to play…not to mention it has the physicality of hockey and football
I had some offers to play in college but there wasnt money involved:
Westminster College in Utah
Simon Fraser- British Columbia
Portland State University
UC-Santa BarbaraI didnt have the money to go out of state so I’m just gonna hang up the cleats and focus on school and work
I also love to ball, but lacrosse was the sport i bossed people at…im only 6’0” so basketball had to come to an end when i reached sophomore year and i hit the weight room and got up to 195 for lacrosse
