RUDEBOY_ParticipantI thought it would be fun to look back Thru the Archives and see what some of our Posters had to say about Lin..Who was Right and who was Wrong about Jeremy Lin?
*
THE GOOD-
Taylor Condrin-(Thread-Bold Predictions for the season 7-2010) I see Lin getting 15 to 20 major minutes in someone’s rotation..
Both Teams Played Hard-(Thread-New York 2010 Draft Options). My guess is that the Knicks will go after a pass 1st point guard like Jeremy Lin or Ish Smith..
Cyclo-(Thread-Hooray Lin Will Be Signed-7-18-2010).Lin is a hard nosed, tough as nails, decent shooter good 1st step and a true 1st point guard..
Scout4Real(Thread-Jeremy Lin.7-16-2010).If JJ Barea can play in the nba so can Lin..He’ll find a job somewhere..
McDunkin_Thread-Jeremy Lin 7-15-2010).Lin is impressing me right now against the Wizards..
BastardInBasket(7-15-2010).I was skepital of Lin coming out of the Ivy League..But i saw him play against the Bucks a few days ago and was impressed by his decision making and court awareness,,
JrdaFilapina(Thread-hahahaha Must Read -8-17-2010). I really like Lin as a player.Would be a great fit with the Knicks…
*
THE BAD-
JNix( I saw him for the 1st time today..He has a sturdy built, but he’s short for a shooting guard..Not really NBA Level at any aspect of the game..And is only decent athletically..
OhCanada(Thread-Worst Player in the nba -12-20-2010).. Jeremy Lin..
Dapot1(Why isnt Lin helping out doing the Lockout? Doesnt he have a degree from Harvard in Economics?

Da1potParticipantLol…. My comment was more of a joke…. The only exposure I had really had to him was when him and John Wall matched up in the summer league, when Lin was with the Warriors. Lin played so well, that the crowd had actually turned on Wall- whom they had been cheering for at the very beginning. However, I still did not think very much of Lin… I figured he would be a garbage-time player, and that he would be out of the NBA in a few seasons…. His rise though, has been like nothing like I have ever seen before….
Arian Foster and James Harrison were both undrafted in the NFL, and have both become stars in the NFL. Lin’s rise has been much more impressive in my eyes though, because he is doing it at the most famous arena in the country, at the most difficult position to play in the NBA.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantGuess I’m tooting my own horn but I was also Pro-Lin before his breakthrough performance…although I can’t find that thread anymore…
A couple other posters who were had Lin’s back were Surve and RileyMcShea.
Surprisingly enough Lin had alot of fans on this board before he blew up nation wide.

TallmanNYCParticipantI started a thread bitching about Bibby and suggesting the Knicks get a guard out of the D-League. Surve said they had just done so with the JLin signing and that he should be the third guard behind Davis and Shumpert (and hence ahead of Bibby and Douglas).
