The Scare Crow RisesParticipantMy nominees are heavyweights "Birdman" Anderson and Andre "the Giant" Drummond, then there is the high flying tag team of "Super" Mario Chalmers and "Too Cold" Norris Cole, then there is the new "Hofather" B-Easy, the NBA’s very own NWO in "Hollywood" Steve Nash, the "Black Mamba" Kobe Bryant and the "Bad guy" Pau Gasol, Jim Buss can be their manager too…Any others???

Buff NBA players are skinny compared to Buff Wrestlers.
Lebron and Bledsoe are considered BUFF NBA players, theyd look tiny next to The Rock,Shawn Michales, Kurt Angle, Batista, John Cena etc.

But I don’t watch wrestling. Not because it’s fake, but because the acting is too melodramatic for my tastes. So I could be way off on the suggestion…

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantGuys like Birdman and Drummond are huge, they could be in the WWE if guys like Big Show and Khali are still collecting a check. Also think the Wwe’s love for Steroid buff wrestlers is what killed the sport, the most talented guys have always been smaller(Hbk, Jericho, RVD, Bret Hart, Eddie) but the WWE always pushed Cena, Bautista and others down our throats. The need to be huge is what helped killed dozens of athletes and contributes to several cases like Beniot and Luger. the brutal touring schedule doesn’t help things either..,

HaleParticipantHBK was like 5’11 205. WWE almost always exaggerates size to give them more of a "larger than life" feel. A good example of this is Batista. While he may have been close at one point he’s billed at 6’6 290 right now and Randy Orton (a legit 6’5) is clearly taller than him and not that much smaller physique-wise. Basically if you are billed as a monster they add 2 inches and 30 lbs and if you are really small they had 2 inches 15-20 lbs to make them look more imposing.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI think LeBron could pull it off. He could either be a good guy or a bad guy.
Birdman would be great. I actually taunted him at a game a couple of years ago and he played it up kinda.
Pau would make a great heel. He can get under your skin, even if you are a fan. The best thing to do with him would be to pair him up with Marc and form a great tag team called the Gasol Brothers.
Kendrick Perkins would be an interesting heel that the Powers That Be inexplicably push. He could be super hyped up but really suck in the ring. He could go by the name Cap Killer.
Reggie Evans would work. He could be a rival bad guy with Cap Killer.
Chris Bosh as Goldust 2.0.
Jeremy Lin – – because every great wrestling promotion needs an Asian guy. LINSANITY could do like 3 decent moves, get lots of fan support, but basically be a really bad wrestler. I would give him Hulk Hogan’s old campaign and a "I am a real Asian American" theme complete with yellow and red costumes. He could even do the boot to the face, and the leg drop as his finishing move. LINSANITYMANIA would run wild on you!

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantThe wwe always looks for near 7 footers, not many have come through their doors with the athletism of a Birdman or Drummond, hell Pekovic would be the fiercest looking heavyweight to walk through their doors since Brock Lesner stepped on the scene…I agree with a lot of your points but it doesn’t change the fact this was a joke and the WWE’s obsession with Steroid induced size is a joke and killed a once entertaining form of sports theatre…

Memphis MadnessParticipantHamed as the Iron Sheik or, I guess, Giant Sheik would be really cool. I always liked that guy (HH).
About the Gasol Brothers, they could also do a Gasol World Order gimmick which would work if they wanted to be bad guys.
Nate Robinson as a masked lucha libre style wrestler against Jeremy Lin would be fun to watch.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI read that Andre The Giant was around 6’10 or 6’11 when he died, but he was billed to be as tall as 7’4.
Big John Studd was billed as being 6’10 but supposedly closer to 6’6.
LeBron at a good 6’8, 250 lbs. or whatever (probably heavier) would be as big as anyone. He would have ideal size for a WWE superstar. He could also get up to about 280 lbs. in short order, in my opinion.
Back in the day, Hulk Hogan was billed as being 6’7 and 313 pounds or something, but he wasn’t that tall at all. He probably didn’t weigh that much either…

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantyeah, I’ve met the Rock and he was shorter than me and not any bigger (although I think he’s lost a fair bit of size since focusing on movies), most of the wrestlers exaggerate their size even more than NBA players!
I think Enes Kanter could make it. They’d probably bill him at 7 ft tall and 300 lbs

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantyeah, I met him in 2010. He looks way bigger in that pic, lol. He looked in great shape when I met him, but wasn’t particularly huge (for a WWE superstar) especially compared to a couple of the monsters I see at the gym I work at. Looks like he’s starting to bulk up again though, he looks massive.

HitsterParticipantI think that all wrestler’s heights were worked in relation to Andre the Giant susposedly being 7ft 5ins tall. There are many stories about what his actual height was as he did shrink in later years due to his back problems. He did suffer from "giantism" so at his tallest I’ve always tought it was likely he was over 7ft but not 7ft 5ins.
Hulk Hogan in an interview a couple of years ago reckoned he was really 6ft 8/9 ins at his tallest but due to doing the leg drop it compressed his spine so he ended up at 6ft 4 ins but after a back operation he was back to 6ft 5ins. Hulk Hogan’s grasp of reality when it relates to his in ring exploits has always been rather skewed in his favour. I recall at WM 8 back in 1992, Hogan took on Physco Sid who was a legit 6ft 8ins and he was a good 3ins shorter than him.
So I’ve always thought Hogan was only 6ft 5ins or a shade over at his tallest.
On a side note it was great to see Hogan back on Raw this week with Real American once more blasting out.

Mad MaxParticipantMajority of NBA players would be physically capable to succeeded in the wwe given enough time to workout and learn how to wrestle, the real question is who has the charisma, speaking ability and creativity to become an interesting wrestler.
Kobe Bryant is very well spoken, and intelligent.
Kevin Love, Blake Griffin.

He was listed at 190 at UK and isnt much bigger now.
The reason Bledsoe looks bigger than 195-200 is because he’s lean but your outta your mind if you reallly think Bledsoe is playing basketball or even walking around at 220 lmaooooo
Theres a thing called genetic limit and him reaching 220 at 6’0 and being lean would be impossible without the use of Steroids or HGH.
But once again prove me wrong and I’ll shutup.

HitsterParticipantBledsoe could be bulked up naturally to 220lbs given the right sort of training program that boxers have used to move up weights but I fully agree with Fast and Furious that Bledsoe is only about 200lbs. He is certainly well muscled but lean and does not look to carry extra bulk around his thighs were say an NFL running back would carry it.

FastAndFuriousParticipantWell yea you are right given the right training program Bledsoe could get to 220 and still be a bit lean naturally.
But for people to actually think he’s 220 is funny, he’s hasnt gotten much/ if any bigger since his UK days.
You’d see a HUGE difference in his body if he went from 190 to 220 and still stayed lean trust me.
