He isn’t even a senior in High school I think. So I don’t know what you would expect any of to say or know about him other than him being Super Tall.

giants like him have alot workin against them with injuries, conditioning, and just coordination in general. If he can stay clear of injuries, it may sound strange, but the biggest factor for him being a legitimate prospect or not will be if he can get up and down the floor.

I actually heard about this kid, someone I know coached agsinst him. Real tall but has muscle too. He supposedly has some type of over active pituitary gland. I thought the person telling me was exaggerating but I guess not. He said the kid was great.

As far as Shagari, he showed great improvement at Rice HS at Kentucky though I guess they didnt have the time to work with him.

Hey now, Shagari plays for the Globetrotters now. He was the most un-coordinated person I ever watched play however, and reports were that he was dumber than a rock.

The way the NBA game is now, I doubt he every plays.  They tend to want smaller mobile Bigs.  Even the bigger guys are pretty mobile and athletic.  Yao Ming was  7’6" but had a lot of foot injuries.  I think with the quicker speed of the NBA, this guy will have a slim shot unless he keeps his height and does not put on much mass.  That may be tough to do.

I see a future Globetrotter.  Paul Sturgess, at 7’8”, a DII or DIII player is with them now.  I don’t see a future NBA player.
