If the Rockets landed Dwight Howard’s old AAU teammate, Rajon Rondo, would they have the upperhand in the Dwight Howard sweepstakes? I feel acquiring Rondo would definitely make tge Rockets even more attractice to Dwight Howard, and the Rockets could put together a better package to entice tge Celtics, than the Mavericks…The Rockets could trade Jeremy Lin, Thomas Robinson, Terrance Jones, Isiash Canaan, and future picks for Rondo….Asik, Dwight, Parsons, Harden, and Rondo, would make a sick starting 5 or they can gi with Dwight at center and Dontas at the 4

You really think Dwight and Asik can play at the same time? Not in this days NBA.

The rockets would be the next dynasty. They should offer Robinson, Aaron Brooks, Terrence Jones and future first round picks for Rondo.

Asik has that $14 million salary in 2014-15 which could put a lot of teams off if it pushes them close to luxury tax. At an even $9 or $10 million a season, Asik is worth it but that big one off year could make moving him hard.

Teams have to pay him 15 million in 14-15, but only 8 million or so actually counts against the cap.

We would need to trade Asik in order to aqcuire Rondo. Probably some sort of package involving Asik/Robinson some first round picks for Rondo. I’m just praying we can get rid of Jeremy Lin somehow, Patrick Beverly fits our system a lot better.

I heard that the Kings are looking for a PG to help Cousins. So I suggest sending Lin to the Kings to run the pick and roll offense with Cousins, Fredette going to Celtics, and Rondo going to Rockets.

    Rockets get: Rondo

Kings get: Lin, 2014 1st round pick from Rockets

Celtics get: Fredette, T. Jones, Robinson, and a future 1st round pick(2016 or 2018)

This will help all teams out. The Rockets can add Asik to the deal as well. Maybe put him to the Celtics?
