    What if there was a Franchise Tag in the NBA and teams could only sign 1 player to a max contract?

    Would that help or hurt the NBA?

    good question, i would say it would hurt because some teams have methodically planned to save up money in order to be able to affrod more than 1 max contract player…it’s like a chess match, the heat made a move by dumping almost all their players and not re-signing any of them in order to have the chance to sign max contracts…the bulls made some moves too and they came up short but that is sometimes how it goes
