So the sixers can get the first pick with their own pick or possibly swap with Sac for higher pick and they can also get the 4th pick if the lakers fall out of the top 3. I would take Fultz 1, for my PG/ SG next to Simmons. This would be ideal pick next to Simmons, a guy who can For the 4th pick I’d pray that Jackson falls there, but if not possibly Tatum though I think Fox and Smith are BPA past Ball and JJ. I would package the 4th pick and Okafor, possibly for a Jimmy Bulter. But Simmons, Fultz, Butler, Saric and Embiid would be the baby super team. This would be the best case scenario for sixers, but at the very worst, they would end up with hopefully 1/5 players.

If the ping pong balls go their way and if everyone can be healthy esp Embiid, this is the team of the future like Orlando Magic with Penny and Shaq (the last team to beat a Jordan Bulls in playoffs) if there is no aweful breakup.

for the entire Year until the 2018 Draft & PRAY that the Lakers landed Michael Porter Jr or DeAndre Ayton in 2018.

I do Not even want to think about this scenario occurring but since it is your thread I’ll give it a shot.

If Fultz were to be added to Embiid & Simmons – that alone just would not be fair. I do agree that Jackson would be the Perfect fit w/ the extra pick (if that scenario played out), but I just can’t see J. Jax falling to #4.

I Still Luv Monk for Phila. w/ Simmons & Embiid running the Pick & Roll (My God those 2 together will be Devestating for a Dozen+ years) Monk will have So much space to operate. Monk is an Elite athlete, a fantastic catch & shoot Sniper who will be viscous in transition & w/ That much space Monk will be a Killa in the Half-court set as well.

If Phila get say the #2 & #4 o0r the #3 & #5 a Jackson / Monk would be like a Track team! Imagine those thoroughbreds racing up & down the court in transition!

But if Phila JUST got Fultz – it would almost be Unfair! & if they also got our Lakers pick I’d lean towards Johnathan Isaac (Yet Another fantastic 2017 Draft prospect)

I’d go with a variation of what you said: #1 Fultz #4 Monk. Shooting, shooting, shooting. And they need guards. Alternatively: Ball and Monk.

Feel the same way. Its a two sided sword, point guard is the most important position now, but I still think I would rather have porter or ayton next year, and lose this years pick. russel and clarkson with Ayton is a better bit tha ball or fultz anyways.  Russell, Young, Ingram, Randle and Ayton is a great problem to have.

Russell Young Ingram Randle Ayton scares nobody in the league for the next 5 years.  If I was a Lakers fan I’d want Randle traded away, he’s not a fit, he thinks he is a leader by seniority and he thus commands the ball too mcuh.

Some of the stuff in the OP were crazy.  Why would chicago take the 4th and Oak for Butler?  Butler is worth the 1st and 4th if you feel the rest of your core is established.

At 1 and 4 you gotta take Fultz with #1, the fit is too good.  At 4 you take Monk or Isaac, depending on who does the best during workouts.

Simmons, Fultz, Monk, Covington, Embiid to start, with my second unit TJ, Saric, Bayless, Oak, Splitter.

But Fultz and Jackson would be insane.  Simmons Fultz Jackson Covington Embiid to start is a nightmare on defense.

I made a post similar to this, basically I think the 76ers will be a contender next year with Dario, Embiid, Simmons, and I hear they like Dennis Smith too.
What if they get cp3 and Blake in free agency too? #1 seed?

if Embiid can manage to stay healthy, play a full season, then I will def put them as contenders next season and beyond. Adding Simmons and possibly 2 first round picks this year will certainly add to this team and watching Dario grow througout the year has been a surprise. However, in order for this to happen, its all about Embiid; he is that good. If this all happens next year, I think its fair to say the sixers can land the 7th or 8th seed in the playoffs.

whats even scarier is the sixers could potentially have 3 guys competing for rookie of the year next season. You have Simmons and possibly 2 first round picks

I would take Fultz first and then your options are wide open with the 4th. You could either:

    1) Take Jackson if he’s available

    2) Take Monk if Jackson is gone

    3) Trade the pick to a team that needs a point guard (NY, Dallas, Sacramento, etc) for a future first rounder and a handful of veterans.

I like any of those options, but I think if I were the GM, I would opt for option 3. Philly already has enough youth. They need veteran leadership.

Josh Jackson would be a great fit for the Sixers style of play. Fultz and Ball would then go two and three. The Sixers would then have their choice of Fox, Smith, or Monk. One of those guys may prove to be the best guard in the draft. There’s really no way to tell.

If they take Ball or Fultz at one, Jackson is gone by four. That leaves you with Tatum or Isaac. I’d probably double down and pick another one of the guards mentioned above. With Simmons and Saric running the offense they could take Monk that high. He could keep the lane open for the slashers and the double teams off the bigs.

Or they could trade down and take seven and ten from Sacramento, get the guards they need at four and seven, then pick up some center insurance with number ten. Just a thought.

With 1# pick: Futlz. As long as there is no injury concerns that is as he could play on or off the ball I think.

With number 4 pick that is all dependent on where you see Saric fitting in is he a PF or a SF

If Saric is your PF then you go after Taytum or Jackson to be you SF

If Saric is you SF then go after Taytum(who could possilby play both pf/sf) or Best available PF that fits  that has Range-Issac or Arizona PF(7 ftr) that can space the floor for embiid while playing reasonable defense…

Malik Monk nothing against the Kid but can someone please explain why people think Malik Monk is worth a top 10 pick  let alone a top 4 pick to me as I am not seeing it right now….

      Courtney Lee with more athleticism,

or Lou Williams with a better shot.

His shot is so pretty, he’s a bit undersized but he has kangaroo bounce.

I don’t think he’s a bad fit around an otherwise potent defense.

Plus he has been touted (I don’t really see it much), and was being recruited as a combo guard that run point if needed.  He’s shown good ability to run around screens, he got better at it as the year progressed.

I’d be fine taking him around 5 or 6.

You are saying you would take a courtney lee/Lou williams type player with a  top 5-6 pick?

That is a little bit of a head scratcher  as lee went 22nd in his draft and Lou williams went 45th in his draft…

I guess if the talent in the draft is lighter than I first anticipated you could be right that he goes 5th/6th, however I could see the french combo guard Frank N leap frogging him in the draft due to length height etc as his comparrison is Dante Exum and he went 5th in the 2014 draft…
