People say he needs a midrange jumpshot, but when you look at his numbers he’s one of the best mid range shooters in the league and has improved every year http://www.hoopdata.com/player.aspx?name=LeBron%20James http://www.hoopdata.com/shotstats.aspx?team=%25&type=pg&posi=%25&yr=2011&gp=40&mins=25 They say he needs a post game, but according to synergy he was 17th in the league in post up situations ahead of Kobe http://www.mysynergysports.com/?lid=corpSite http://www.nba.com/heat/news/evolution_post_game_110412.html As much as people say Lebron relies on athleticism he’s actually pretty skilled so what can he truly improve next year. I personally think he needs to go to the post more and trust it because its not bad and even though his jumper is good he’s alot more dangerous when he drives. He also, I think, could lose 5-10 lbs just so he could be as light on his feet as he was in his early years. Interesting look at gamewinners Kobe vs Lebron in playoffs closer than I thought: http://chasing23.com/kobe-bryant-vs-lebron-james-game-winning-shots/

Posting and posting at a level he’s capable aren’t the same thing.  A long-range game would be stellar, far moreso than improving on the mid-range game, especially since he insists on hoisting threes.  He needs a turnaround or baby hook.  He gets in the post and immediately looks to spin, which is nice and gets him to the line and all, but we saw it’s downfalls against the Mavs.  He’s so strong, especially compared to those teams have to cover him with due to his speed, a simple turnaround or hook would be unguardable.

I think that killer instinct that Kobe and MJ had cause when he develops it, nd that all comes from expierences like these.. its going to be something to watch.
