B-dizzle97ParticipantThe NBA season is only 48 days away so I’m wondering What are you guys looking most forward to this coming NBA season? Being a Timberwolves fan, I am very excited to see their young core begin to mesh and I am excited to see Karl Anthony-Towns flash his superstar potential. I am also excited to see Stars like Kobe and Kevin Durant return from injury. So what are you guys excited for?

high floorParticipantAs a magic fan I’m most looking forward to seeing whether or not Aaron Gordon’s summer league performance carries into the regular season. If you watch AG in summer league last year, versus the AG in summer league this year… he looked like he addressed a number of issues on the offensive side of the ball.
Hoping he earns the starting PF job and keeps it under newly appointed Scott Skiles. He needs minutes as much (if not more) than any up and coming prospect in the NBA.

herceg_bukuParticipantI am not a bandwagoner, Lakers are my team cuz i love kobe. But i cant wait to see spurs and how they will transtion these new pieces that they have, to slowly ease duncan into retirement, while seemingly not losing anything. They are the only team that can retire the best PF arguably of all time but remain just as good without him on the team. They are loaded this year, their roster is almost unfair lol.

Again if you’re american and live and die by the NBA,you have every right to(and I love the NBA more than any other sport competition also too, while not being in the US)

ZachAttackParticipantI’m excited to see how well the Jazz are going to do this year. Will they still be able to make it into the playoffs without Exum? I’m not really sure. But I’d love to see them try. There are just a lot of questions with this team. So, yeah…

dcaseParticipantI’m a Laker fan so I am looking forward to seeing how the young guys (Clarkson, Russell, and Randle) play, mesh and grow throught the year. I am also excited to see Kobe return and am interested to see what level he will be able to play at.
Aside from the Lakers, I really enjoy watching Westbrook and am interested in seeing if he can carry over the high level of play from last year (especially post all-star break) to this upcoming season. Also, how the return of Durant influences Westbrook’s play.
My interest in other players will be dicated somewhat by who I draft on my fanatsy team.

TarHeelRavenParticipantI’m a Wizards fan. The Wizards have been a good team the last couple of years making the playoffs and advancing past the first round. I’m excited to see if they can take the next step and compete for the Eastern Confernce crown. I want to see Wall and Beal stay healthy all year. Can Otto step up in the absence of Paul Pierce?

SubZeroParticipantI’m anxious to see if the Thunder can actually stay healthy for the first time in a long time. Also how Donovan’s system will look and how Durant and Russell play in it.
Looking forward to see how the up and coming young teams progress this year (Jazz, T-Wolves, Magic, Bucks)
Seeing my Kentucky boys dominate

DolanCareParticipantThe rise of the Utah Jazz and the Orlando Magic. Utah is clearly in a different class than Orlando at this point in time. However, I see no reason why the Magic shouldn’t be competing for the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
Both teams are probably still a year away from really showing their potential but the 2016 season will be one of the looking-glass, to see if these teams are for real.

T RexYeah, I’ll be watching a lot of the Magic, and probably a lot of the Knicks as well. I think Porzingis is going to blow people away, looking like Rudy Gobert with a 3 point shot by the end of this season. And that’s an amazing player, even if he doesn’t put up huge stats. He won’t need to, since he’ll be so valuable just stretching the floor.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m anxious to see:
– If Paul George is 100% healthy and can he pick up where he left off before the leg injury
– How much will George play at the 4
– The chemistry between George and Monta Ellis
– The Pacers new offense. Faster paced. More spacing. More shooting. More versatility.
– Myles Turner and Joseph Young. I think Turner is the real deal and will make an impact immediately at both ends of the floor. Vogel has shown he’ll play rookies, so I’m anxious to see what both players can do.
– How the Pacers rebound after losing Roy Hibbert, David West and Luis Scola. Can Ian Mahinmi, Jordan Hill, Myles Turner and Lavoy Allen get it done defensively and on the glass? The Pacers have always been one of the better rebounding and rim protecting teams in the league.

TrillaParticipantHow Okafor adjusts to an NBA offense, and how him and Nerlens can fit together offensively. If Stauskas really can be/ show signs of the player(not just a shooter) that I think he can be (a starting 2 guard on a good team)
Other than them, watching Lamarcus play in SA, I think thatll be something that all basketball fans will love
If Chicago can FINALLY become a good effensive team under Hoiberg. Rose(praying), Butler, Mirotic, Pau and other could be such a fun team to watch if they can start to run a real free flowing offense
I also want to know which team is going to be the team that everyone thinks is going to be decent, but they end up at the top of the lottery with Philly and co. (like the Bucks 2 years ago).

omphalosParticipantI’m really excited to see the old powerhouses of Chicago and OKC under more creative coaches and how Rose and Durant try to recapture their MVP form.
Also pumped to see the Timberwolves do their thing, young fellas are really intriguing.
As a Celtics fan, I’m mildly interested in seeing how James Young fares this season and whether Perry Jones III can be productive in Brad’s system.
I’m looking forward to seeing Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb playing together again and hopefully recapturing that magic.
Finally, I’m keen to see Drummond as the unquestioned focal point of an exciting young Pistons team.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantKD’s return
How big a step Anthony Davis takes with a good offensive coach
Sacramento might be the most interesting situation to watch, will they compete for the 8 seed or will chemistry be an issue in all levels of the organization?
If Orlando and Minnesota start making strides or they go through another year of growing pains
Whose offseason move makes the biggest difference in the West (SA, HOU, LAC)

CynthiaParticipantAs a Thunder fan:
• The obvious one would be to see how they can bounce back from a massive injury hampered year
• If Westbrook will get knocked back down to #2 now that Durant is back, or if he will make an even stronger case for #1
• How Billy Donovan’s system will work in comparison to Scotty Brooks’. It’s time to see if Brooks was an idiot or a genius with those awkward lineups (most likely an idiot)
• I’d like to see Ibaka start developing an actual post game, and get more rebounds as well
• Who will prevail between Kanter & Adams, on most nights they can be interchangeable depending on the opposing teams post players, I think Kanter will get the nod for the most part though
• Who will start at Shooting Guard, now that Brooks is gone it’s very likely the worst starting SG in the history of the NBA in Andre Roberson will be benched, hopefully very deep, like 3rd or 4th
• How Cam Payne will work out with the likes of Westbrook & Augustin, most likely will be playing a lot of D-League, I’m still salty about this pick, a third PG with such a high pick was unnecessary
• Dion Waiters is still a big question mark for me, I like his game but I never thought he fit the Thunder, and I’m still scratching my head a bit, he’s probably served best as a 6th man; definitely a wild card0 - Posted on: Wed, 09/09/2015 - 1:19am #1012387

thaprodigyParticipantThe return of Paul George…
Bradley Beal entering that group of elite scorers. Dude averaged 23, 5, & 4 in the playoffs as a 21 year old. He’s my pick for MIP…
If Andre Drummond & Reggie Jackson can prove there worth all this money there about earn combined, seeing the Drummond is in line for the Max also…
How Damian Lillard’s does by himself, if they’re in the playoff discussion (and I’m not saying they will) he has to get MVP votes. I wouldn’t be too surprised to see him put up similar stats to Rose’s MVP season…
