Here I am looking at The Magic roster and seeing Olapidi and Fournier in front of him, would the Magic trade him to a Philadelphia for a collection of future picks(Laker’s pick possibly 4th this year? Kings and Nuggets owe us 1st round picks too)

Lets just assume Philadelphia lands 2 and 4 on Tuesday Night, is the 4th overall pick this year too much to give up for Super Mario Hezonja(who I would pair up with Ingram at Sf, 2 Tall Shooters)

    So my questions are

    1

What is Orlando planing to do with Hezonja and the rest of the G’s on the roster?

    2

What does it take to pry him away on draft night if Im Philadelphia?

It’s a bad year for Orlando to make that trade. A star PG or a C is what Orlando needs and the top 5 or 6 guys in this year’s draft play SG, SF, and PF. They’re not trading Hezonja for Poeltl or something. Dunn is nice, but not a big enough upgrade of Payton. They could put Jamal Murray at PG, but Orlando’s offense needs more of a true PG. He’d be the best target, but still, nah. If this were next year and talking about Dennis Smith, it might be worth debating.

Besides, Hezonja is the most likely player on Orlando to become a star. Though the idea of him and Ingram is brilliant. They should just keep their 12th pick. It might net them a project of a PG or C with a lot of upside (Dejounte Murray, Thon Maker).

Anyway, they might be done accumulating young guys and be after free agents. If Dwight Howard did actually join, adding a good free agent PG might be a lot easier.

To be honest I don’t know what is really going on in orlando…Skiles really struggled with making any sense of this roster and took to long to figure out to even play Aaron G….

1: If Fournier leaves you keep Mario and either elevate his role to Starter or 6th man, depending on if they continue starting on Victor and elfrid or if they are going to change that combination and start Mario over one of them making the other the 6th man(vic or elfrid).

2.If you pay Founier(hopefully not to much). This makes Herzonia/Victor expedable,so what this means then is Mario could possibly be had.

However I wouldn’t personally trade for anything in this draft(as top 3 picks don’t even look like top 8 picks last year to be honest with you)

But if the Magic are going to trade with Philly

Philly assets: Noel who still seems like a project,Okafor who’s defense needs some serious work before he turns in Al jeff 2.0 rather than Timmy D ceiling that was talked about ,Joel E who no one has seen play in a nba game, and won’t know how his foot will hold up(he won’t have value for at least 2 seasons of play),Saric no nba experience so is a risk also and this years picks(2+4 and others hypothetically)…

The only thing the Magic would be legitmately interested in is: Brandon Ingram(I’m assuming Simmons goes 1) as everything else would just be a double up of what they have or wouldn’t fit their team..I could see this deal keeping both parties happy

Mario H and the orlando pick(10/11 range any higher I wouldn’t do this deal)

for Brandon Ingram  I would bring him in for a work out and make sure he fits your needs and can perform what he is expected to be as he is going to be a work in progress… I would start him off as a 6th man this give you time to further evaluate Oladipo/Payton/Fournier(as one is bound to be moved eventually) and this helps ease Ingram into the NBA

This keeps both parties happy as Philly gets a sg/sf they need to space the floor+ more young talent(draft pick)and this gives orlando a little more time to evaluate their core to see who is traded next to help them out..

If the Sixers get the Lakers pick (if not in the top #3) and had the #3 & #4 picks they could draft Bender and trade the #4 pick to Orlando for Hezonja, bring over Sakic this year and they’ll have 3 members of the future 2020 Olympic Bronze Medalist Croatian National Basketball team. All they need to do is get Bojan Bogdanovic and sign Roku Ukic from oversees to have the complete starting lineup.
