kobyzParticipanti have a legit source who told me that the Warriors are very high on Jared Sullinger and their plan is to take him with the seventh pick and to amnesty David Lee with the mindset that with the free money created to give long tearm big offer shit to free agent Jerald Wallace, so there for you next year Golden State starting lineup:
PG: Stephen Curry
SG: Klay Thompson
SF: Gerald Wallace
PF: Jared Sullinger
C: Andrew Bogut0 - Posted on: Sun, 05/27/2012 - 3:00am #674143
avavalisParticipantThey have 13m commited to Bogut,10 m to RJ,9 m to Biedrins and other 10 m. in Steph,Wright and klay so its gonna be tough to commit even more money long term as they will have to pay lee’s salary (even off the books) bogut’s,RJ’s and biedrins’ for 2 more years and currys extension (hopefully)..in 13/14 with this plan they are going to have to pay : bogut 14m,lee 14m. , 11 RJ, 9 biedrins,13-14m. curry, plus many other contracts of complementary players around 2-3 m….that’s a financial bleeding!

JunkYardDogParticipantI think your legit source is bullsh*ting you… or drinking.
I don’t know if GS is high on sullinger but one thing is sure : they won’t use their amnesty on david lee this summer. Especially if the aim was to sign a long term big offer to gerald wallace (an injury prone, not all star player) whereas they already have jefferson and wright in their roster.
I think GS will use the next year to see if their frontcourt can stay healthy : lee and bogut are very smart/effective player when they are on the court. It could form one of the most interesting frontcourt in the nba. If not they will try to trade them or amnesty 1 of them (but not this summer). Biedrins is on the radar too but his contract can end at the end of next year (so they are not in a hurry to get rid of his bad contract). Jefferson is overpaid and his contract only end in 2013/14.

mosdefParticipantyour source cant be that legit for a couple of reasons
1- GS already used their amnesity clause on Charlie Bell (for whatever reason baffles me) so they cant amnesity David Lee since they already used their amnesty
2-David Lee is the owners favorite player. If they could amnesty a second player, which they cant, I hope it would be for Andris Biedrins
3-the GSW are not locked into the 7th pick in the draft. the lottery is in 3 days so GS could have the 1st, 2, 3, 7th or completely out of the lottery and have to wait until the 30th
4- I dont know who Jerald Wallace is. Wasnt that the guy from Syrcuse that got drafted by the Knicks? I think you meant Gerald Wallace

kobyzParticipantyour’e right, actually the Gerald Wallace and the amnesity part were my own insertion, just for fun but the Jared Sullinger part it’s for real!

JunkYardDogParticipant@mosdef is completely right…
I had fogotten (such an awfull move !!!) GS already used their amnesty on bell and you can amnesty only one player, and not a traded one (so not bogut or jefferson).
john wallace… what a waste.
