It appears that disgruntled Golden State Warriors forward Stephen Jackson could be Charlotte-bound.

The Warriors are on the verge of completing a deal that would send Jackson and guard Acie Law to the Bobcats in exchange for veteran swingmen Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmanovic, ESPN.com has learned.

Sources close to the situation said that the deal was close to completion and likely to be consummated later Monday. The Cleveland Cavaliers have long been considered the favorites to land the Warriors’ former captain in the wake of Jackson’s trade demand late in the summer, when Jackson announced that he hoped to be dealt to the Cavaliers, New York Knicks or one of the three Texas teams.

I dont think this is the type of team that he would like to go to as they are not winning the playoffs anytime soon

I know Nelson thinks he got the last laugh by trading Jackson to the Bobcats, but this actually isn’t a bad trade for the Bobcats and Jackson. Jackson gets his wish by getting traded to a team with more veteran players and Larry Brown is also a great coach.

haha hes a throw in in trades and yeah the bobcats can make the playoffs but jackson wants to go to a contender like san or cavs im guessing he only likes this trade becuz hes leaving golden state

Bobcats get another wing threat and will make a push for a playoff spot.
Golden State get 2 more wings, but Bell will actually be good because he will bring some defense, and radmanovich is just a throw in..

And yes, Jax wanted to be on a contender, but what team with a chance of winning a title would pick up a guy who could ruin it all with his attitude.

As much as I hate the Warriors, i like this trade. Stephen Jackson is a punk who quits on the team. And he really thought that the Warriors would abide by his wishes and send him to a good team?? Haha HAve fun in Charlotte Stephen Jackson, and maybe u should learn to keep ur frickin mouth shut. Anyways, Bell will help the Warriors a great deal with his defense and 3pt shooting so this is actually a very good trade for the GSW
