The man who scorched Team USA for 29pts en route to FIBA 1st team honors has been caught draining 72% of his 3pt shots in a 5 minute drill, including 14 in a row from the corner at a Miami practice.

Im telling you guys right now. Vaseljevic is the best shooter in college hoops and everyones snoozing on him.

Theres no shortage of footage of him on youtube, but the recent Miami Hurricanes footage can be easily found by searching google or twitter.

Can someone who has actually seen DJ play, inform Andrew whether he ever has problems making 3pt shots in game situations.

 

So whilst I’m picking one player out of thousands of college kids, who I have been tracking since he was 15, and informing the draft community of a stud who isnt even on the radar that he will be the best shooter in all of College basketball…a bold prediction to say the least.

You’re trying to discredit him without so much as watching 2mins of youtube videos.

Because I don’t care which game you picked, its almost certain that he hits a 30ft 3pt shot with a hand in his face, because he does it every game.

Someone who knew Vaseljevics game would have plenty of flaws to criticise (take note of Rob C who rightly points out concerns over footspeed). Thats cos he decided to do his own scouting.

Sorry Andrew, but if thats your contribution, its not only misleading and inaccurate, but shows that you have a ‘type first, scout second’ mentality. I didnt want to have to do this but….your post is #weaksauce

 None of your criticisms have anything to do with his post. You are making up things and attacking them, such as him saying he can’t shoot in games. He never said he couldn’t shoot in games, he said that making shots in practice is nothing special for college calibre basketball players- which it isn’t. Any guy labelled as a shooter going into a div 1 program I guarantee will light it up just as much as DJ does. Him hitting a 30 foot jumper with a hand in his face doesn’t mean squat if he can’t get any minutes due to his incredibly lack luster defense and his inability to provide much of anything if he isn’t shooting well. I like DJ, he was in my age group for basketball in Victoria and I used to love watching him play and going up against him- but he is not the best shooter in college basketball.
