ChicagoCaseyParticipant- Kobe Bryant to the Memphis Grizzlies – I believe the Grizzlies are a go to scorer away from being true contenders to win the championship. The Grizzlies lack a go to scorer and Kobe is one of the better ones in the history of this league.
- Dirk Nowinski to the Detroit Pistons – The Pistons are trying to run a 4 out 1 in offense and the Detroit Pistons is starting Ersan Ilyasova. Detroit is looking like a real playoff contender early in the season. Why not get Dirk and have him be the go-to scorer and be the stretch 4. Andre Drummond can mask Dirk defensive woes.
- Ricky Rubio to the New York Knicks – I would love to see Rubio in the bright lights in New York. I don’t know if he can fit in the triangle, but it will be fun to see Rubio flash in New York
- Markieff Morris to the Washington Wizards – Kris Humphries is nice, but he’s not the ideal stretch 4 the Wizards need with John Wall. The Wizards need a player that can run with Wall and can stretch the defense out. Markieff Morris is the perfect guy that fits the mold as the perfect stretch four for the Wizards.
- Carmelo Anthony to the Chicago Bulls – I see this as a perfect fit, even more than all of the others I have listed above. I don’t see Jimmy Butler as a go-to scorer (definitely in the clutch) and I don’t see Derrick Rose coming back to where he once was. I believe Jimmy Butler as a great secondary scorer and Derrick Rose will be an outstanding third option with less attention from the defense. Carmelo Anthony won’t have all the pressure due to the fact that he will have great players that can hide his weaknesses.
You might have noticed that I never listed other players on the teams I listed that will be an ideal fit. I did that because I don’t have reasonable trades to throw out so I just listed players that I would like to see on other teams. And If you have any feedback and other players that you would like to see on another team comment below.

WinterSoldierParticipantHarrison Barnes to the Utah Jazz. I would love if the Jazz got a player that could play small ball four. We have a lot 2.5 and 4.5 but the only 3.5 we have is Joe Ingles and Barnes would be a huge upgrade.

SubZeroParticipantYou don’t think Trey Lyles can be that in a year or 2?

Mr. HookShotParticipantThat not to unrealistic though. In a previous post I stated that if GSW believes Barnes will ask too much for a contract this summer (like Thompson did with Cleveland) they should look to trade him. He is a very, very talented player with room for growth, but with GSW he will remain a role player. If GSW can bring a decent 3/4 back (Lyles?) with some years on his rookie contract they would be thrilled.

WinterSoldierParticipantI like that Lyles for Barnes it helps the Jazz who want imediate help and gives the Warriors a future player who they won’t have to pay for years.

T RexDetroit looks like it’s doing just fine without Dirk. Ilyasova was a key to MIL’s first half explosion last year, and now he’s bringing that O.E. to DET.

ChicagoCaseyParticipantYou really believe that Ilyasova is a key to success, LOL. A stretch 4 was a key to success to open the floor for Andre Drummond. Dirk will take them to another level
