I just read on espn that some very special Jordan items like his diploma or recruiting letters back from his days at UNC are going to have new owners within the next few days. Unfortunately I can’t post the link cause the spam filter is messing with it. 

Am I the only one having trouble with creating content the last few weeks?

After his flu game sneakers have just been sold for more than 100k I think this going to get really nasty! 

 

I’ve never been into trading cards or stuff like that by I always had a faible for basketball related and signed gear or autographs which were kind of special. 

 

Personally I have 3 basketball related memorabilias I collected over the years and one of them is MJ related too. I own 2 Nowitzki autographs which are very special to me. The first I got as a present to my 20th birthday in 2001 when Dirk was not yet a star. A friend of mine met him in Würzburg his hometown in a coffee shop where he was waiting for a magazine interview and asked him for an autograph say good birthday to me and including my name. The 2nd Dirk one I got myself when he was in germany after he finally got his ring and playing with the national team. I had a really cool picture from a magazine showing him smoking a fat lady and holding the championship trophy at the parade in Dallas. He gave me a big smile when he saw it for the signing and really made a pretty one for me.

 

My 3rd thing is a white #9 dream team Jordan jersey signed by MJ, Bird and Magic. Later it was signed by Wilt too and I got it a few years ago with COA and everything for very good money. It will never be worth insane money like the items in the auction above but I don’t think there are many Jerseys out there who are signed by some of the greatest players ever. 

 

Outside of that I own a ticket for the visitors plattform of the WTC bought on 2001/9/11. It’s not that I love it or anything like that but it always reminds me how quickly things can change and that life is too short to hate each other.

 Now the link works but damn creating long posts here with my Apple tablet is completely bull. PLEASE Aran could you make this more mobile friendly and btw I really don’t enjoy typing in a verification code every time I want to reply to something, is this really necessary for registered useres every time?

What happened to the idea of a mobile app which was brought up a few months ago???
