Lotto StudParticipantWhat are your thoughts on this tandem this Fall down in Raleigh?
Do some of you "still" view Lewis & Purvis as Nash 2.0 & Wade 2.0?

Johnny ChillFrom the looks of it, I would say Stillman White and D.Wade

akhan786ParticipantI think they’ll be very good in the future but I don’t think they’ll be that effective together in their freshman years because of NC State’s depth at guard next year.
I think Rodney would be the only one getting significant minutes and is my preseason pick for ACC ROY.

rickybobbyParticipantLewis does play alot like Nash and Purvis game is built like Wades at the same point in his career. They are both kinda underrated in my opinion.
Its going to be interesting to see if they move Brown off the ball now and let Lewis run the point from the start. And if so do they slide Brown to sf and let Purvis start sg? Or does Warren start at sf or come off the bench?

providencefriars1ParticipantYa we might not see the Lewis-Purvis combo much this year because Brown is probably ahead of both of them on the depth chart and Scott Wood could log a few mins at the 2 if Warren is at the 3.

TRC1991Participantyou guys are forgetting lorenzo brown, hes the starting PG, lewis will come off the bench

Bill Walton’s KneesParticipantTheir games complement each other perfectly. Lewis won’t start though.

PabloFiascoParticipantLorenzo may be the starting PG now but that was only due to them loosing Ryan Harrow. Lorenzo is a SG and I’m sure they’ll be moving him back to playing off ball where he’s comfortable at

Bmore_DCParticipantim really high on both guys…Purvis will probably get big minutes right away, whereas Lewis needs to get stronger and bigger…he will be very good tho when he does that, and NC State is going to be very scary…
im a big fan of Rodney Purvis…he has that bull-dog type mentality that translates to any level

nbafan7898ParticipantPablo Fiasco I don’t know Lorenzo Brown looked incredible at points this season at the PG. He is someone to really keep an eye on this season for NCSU. If they go far and NCSU breaks out like I expect he could move up a lot in the draft. He is very athletic and learned a lot at the PG spot this year.
NCSU will likely start:
PG Lorenzo Brown
SG Rodney Purvis
SF Scott Wood
PF CJ Leslie
C Richard HowellOne of the most talented starting 5’s in the country if you ask me.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantIf Leslie comes back, NC State could very well go all the way.
