I became a huge Lawson fan about 3 months prior to the Draft.

As my April 2009 mock draft states…

I had Ty Lawson #3 in the lottery ahead of Hasheem Thabeet, Earl Clark and Jordan Hill.

Who was right? Not you.

So maybe I overrated Lawson, but he’s still going to be a better NBA player than Thabeet, Clark and Hill…. players YOU rated ahead of him, but you were WRONG.

How do you know he’ll be better than them? He should be better than Thabeet, but Earl Clark and Jordan Hill both have chances to be very good players. You can’t say he’ll be better because he had a better rookie year. He was just more NBA-ready off the bat, that doesn’t mean he’ll be better.
