grwgoden08Participantlawson is a much better pro prospect…lawson had a bad game

cycloParticipantTy Lawson is the next Tyronn Lue.
Lawson is a choke artist at the college level. Has bust written all over him. ESPN even ran a story of Lawson’s choking exploits at the college level.
Tyrese Rice is a gamer and a better prospect who will prove himself better at the NBA level.

JNixonParticipantSo you never said that huh? Let’s be honest…..Like tongue-out said, we’ve all been wrong before.
Some more than others though
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 1:49pm #360377
cycloParticipantThat was waaay before the ’09 draft.
Doesn’t say I thought Rice was better. Just that Lawson got owned in two games.
That was early January. Try May-June next time.
I think everyone will agree what matters is one’s final player projection prior to the Draft in June.
In fact, I had Lawson going top 10 in my ’09 mock lottery…. and Rice late first/early second.
So there you have it.

JNixonParticipant“Doesn’t say I thought Rice was better. Just that Lawson got owned in two games. ”
—“Tyrese Rice is a gamer and a better prospect who will prove himself better at the NBA level.”
How can you lie when it’s right here on the computer?! Smh….
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 2:07pm #360394
cycloParticipantGF leave you? Why do you misrepresent me?
Why did I have Lawson in the top 10 of my ’09 mock lottery and Rice in the late first/early second?
Answer that.
Isn’t one’s Draft projection in May-June what counts?
I projected Lawson accurately prior to the Draft in ’09. Lottery.
He ended up having a great NCAA tournament and proved a lot.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 2:14pm #360402

JNixonParticipantYou lied, the truth MUST come out.
How do I know you aren’t lying about having them in your mock that high? You’re probably lying about that too……And even if you weren’t lying, you were still wrong about that….LMAO….Just like you are about EVERYTHING else. I’ve been wrong, but I’ll own up to it sir. Especially since the truth is right there lol.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 2:50pm #360433
cycloParticipantForget January 2009.
From April-June 2009 when it counted, I had Ty Lawson going LOTTERY in my mocks and Rice in the second round.
Already been proven, man.
http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/cyclos-full-mock-416
Yup. I projected Lawson much higher than Rice. In fact, I loved Lawson and overrated him… and I think I was right that he may end up a better NBA player than ’09 lottery picks such as Thabeet, Hill and Clark.

cycloParticipantIggy said I thought Rice was better than Lawson. He was proven wrong when I re-posted my mock from April 2009 where I had Lawson #3 in the lottery and Rice #57 in the second round. That was 2 months prior to the draft.
In fact, I had Lawson rated higher than anybody else did from April-June 2009. I was the only poster who had Lawson rated higher than Thabeet as an NBA prospect in April 2009. How did that one turn out? Hmm?
What more proof do you need?
http://www.nbadraft.net/forum/cyclos-full-mock-416
I’m sorry if Iggy’s GF left him.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 6:51pm #360802

butidonthavemoneyYou said this…
"Tyrese Rice is a gamer and a better prospect who will prove himself better at the NBA level"
You just look like an idiot saying that you never said that.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 6:59pm #360813
McWinningParticipantSo Hes 17 picks better than Tyreke Evans?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 7:05pm #360827
cycloParticipantNo. You’re are an idiot for pulling an old January 2009 quote, which means nothing, because…
In April 2009, I rated Lawson #3 in the lottery and Rice #57 in the second round.
What does that fact mean to you?
From April-June 2009, I had Lawson rated higher than everyone else did.
I was the only poster who rated Lawson higher than Thabeet as a pro prospect.
How did that one turn out?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 7:56pm #360897

butidonthavemoneyI dunno.
Let’s ask Robert Dozier.
Oh wait, he’s sleeping on his mother’s couch.
Don’t worry champ. You’ll get something right one of these days.

0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:06pm #360905

butidonthavemoneyAnd I pulled that quote to prove you wrong when you said…
"Doesn’t say I thought Rice was better."
Bam.
Also you don’t base a mock draft on how good you think the prospects are (that’s a big board), you base a mock on where you think the players will go. So that doesn’t mean you thought Lawson was better, just that you thought he would be taken third. So your mock sucked as well.
Bam.
Please come up with something original to say. You are like a broken record.

McDunkini cant wait..im too excited…its like j nixon has been hitting him with jabs all day and nomoney just nailed him with a right cross
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:13pm #360915

JNixonParticipantYou went from saying Ty Lawson would be worse than Tyrese Rice (who clearly sucks now at the NBA level, he’s looked very poor in SL in the 2 years since he left BC), comparing Lawson to Tyronn Lue, to having him as the 3rd overall pick. You’re extremely wrong either way, yet you brag about it like your right about something. All that proves is that you go from being extremely wrong on one end of the spectrum………to being wrong again on the other end.
And what does me “losing my GF” have to do with how wrong you are about everything? Smh…
But yeah, I’m done with you. You’re pretty basic.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantI’ll take the uppercut. Just don’t give out any of these…..
Please….
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:23pm #360923

butidonthavemoneyWell Iggy…
Little do you know that a rectangle has 4 sides. What is 4 cubed? 64…
Think about it… 64. That’s the number of Nintendo’s 3rd gaming system. Now do the division… 64/3…
21 (rounded)… 21. Look at it that way.
NOW
Look at it this way… 2+1…
What is 2+1?
3. That is the number Ty Lawson wears…
Now what has 3 sides?
A triangle. And how to you find the hypotenuse of a right triangle?
With the Pythagorean Theorem…
So the hypotenuse would be the square root of 18…
How many sides in a square? 4
Add 4 to 18…
And you get 22.
22 divided by 2 is 11.
Which is 1 more than Tyronn Lue’s number…
I’d like to see you prove that wrong…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:24pm #360925

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantThat would make a pretty good Old Spice commercial.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:25pm #360926
cycloParticipantI had Dozier in the second round, so I don’t know why you keep bringing his name up.

McDunkinget that ab game up no money and we might have something

McDunkinno cyclo NO! you dont get to go off topic..only we do
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:36pm #360940
cycloParticipantI became a huge Lawson fan about 3 months prior to the Draft.
As my April 2009 mock draft states…
I had Ty Lawson #3 in the lottery ahead of Hasheem Thabeet, Earl Clark and Jordan Hill.
Who was right? Not you.
So maybe I overrated Lawson, but he’s still going to be a better NBA player than Thabeet, Clark and Hill…. players YOU rated ahead of him, but you were WRONG.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:38pm #360945

butidonthavemoneyMy Mom says I need a hair cut, but I’m never going to cut it.
…No there isn’t anything better to talk about…
…Thoughts?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:39pm #360946

JNixonParticipantHow do you know he’ll be better than them? He should be better than Thabeet, but Earl Clark and Jordan Hill both have chances to be very good players. You can’t say he’ll be better because he had a better rookie year. He was just more NBA-ready off the bat, that doesn’t mean he’ll be better. You must think you’re talking to somebody that doesn’t watch basketball and just reads stats. I am NOT you..
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:39pm #360947
cycloParticipantOh boy.
I’m about to f–k you up by posting your 2009 mock draft dated 5/25/2009.

Michael.S.Participantjust edit his posts butidonthavemoney…
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:44pm #360956

JNixonParticipantAlso, you may have had him over 3 players, but what about Tyreke Evans, Brandon Jennings, Stephen Curry and all the other players that outperformed him?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/22/2010 - 8:45pm #360957
