To be honest, other then the Brandon Roy part ( and draft picks being moved), I think 2/3 of these teams do the deal. Portland wouldn’t do it because Batum is a untouchable and Roy is….Brandon Roy

That would be a cool trade.  Some change of places for veterans.

I don’t think anyone would really think Roy’s knees are worth the risk, his contract is pretty hefty, I don’t see a team wanting him.

yeah i agree with what you guys are saying

@bkknicks i see he was the focal point because id love to se batum as a raptor when you say untouchable your saying that hes the 6th man or gerald wallace is one??

@scliddiard yeah i know his contracts hefty but i think charlotte would like losing diop and carrals contracts and moving stefon jackson

lol i just realized stefon jackson and wallace are reunited haha

When I said untouchable, I mean Portland wasn’t willing to give him up for the 4th pick last season. They don’t wanna deal him.

I wouldn’t like this if I was Toronto.. Portland gets better for immediate winning. Toronto gets two bad contracts and some wing players when they need a center and a point guard for the future. Indiana kinda just switches stuff up but Roy already expressed he doesnt work good with Miller. Portland gets rid of an old guy and an injured guy but lose Batum who has lots of potential.

Toronto’s new lineup would be Calderon, DeRozan, Batum,Davis, and Diop 🙁 They have really no size after trading Bargnani and Amir for wing players..

Charlotte’s new lineup would be Miller, Henderson, Roy, Thomas, and Amir Johnson. This doesn’t look to bad as they get rid of bad contracts and get younger.

Portland’s new lineup would be Augustin, Jackson, Wallace, Aldridge, and Bargnani. This team looks good but may have a problem like Toronto did with Bosh/Bargnani except that the wing players will play defense.

They should of traded him so they could draft Cousins and not had to give the most injury prone player in the league a 4-40 million dollar contract.  Batum is nice but cmon Portland.

yeah i agree with the toronto aspect im a toronto fan. yeah but i think batum derozan and david is a nicer younger core and if we draft kanter with our pick you also neclected the pick aspect we could be gaining a charlotte pick or a portland pick.or we could draft kyrie and with the new situation sign deandre jordan just thoughts

@bkknicks oh really ok i understand where you coming from now i didnt know that so ok so your probably right that batum isnt going anywhere

I agree Toronto is the team trading the player with the most value in this deal since Roy’s knees are shot, they do not have to add Amir Johnson, James Johnson, and Soloman Alabi for players like Diop, and Carrell that makes very little sense. Although I do believe Batum, Fernandez, and cap filler would be a decent return for Bargnani still not full value but pretty good. Also Batum those two would adress many needs Toronto has, Portland would never do this trade btw, it would be the seldestruction of that team.
