TRC1991ParticipantThe first one is simple…two teams…two players
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2fq7raa
Charlotte gets a point guard…this means DJ Augustin can come off the bench where he is better suited
Toronto gets a power forward…this means Amir Johnson can come off the bench where he is better suited
both players contracts are $9,000,000 exactly
……………………………..
2nd one is a little more complex, but still shouldn’t be too painful to view
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2vma5de
i dont know why NBA trade machine isn’t working but they wouldn’t let me see if it was successful or not, but here’s why i like it
Detroit gets:
Two big men capable of starting in Jason Thompson and Joel Przybilla along with a solid young wing who can fill in for prince in Omri Casspi…also a big body in Jeff Pendergraph
Portland gets:
A very nice 6th man in Richard Hamilton to come in and play the 2 when they slide Roy to the 1 in certain situations…Also get a very nice young wing in Donte Greene and a big body in Chris Wilcox
Sacramento gets:
A veteran small forward in Tayshaun Prince who knows how to play on both ends of the floor and Jerryd Bayless so they can move Reke to his natural position at the 2

llperezthe first one i dont like for charlotte. Both diaw and calderon are really overpaid and in that case i take the guy who is coming off the books at the end of this year.
As for the second one, i like it for detroit. It clears up salary space, allows them to get bigger, and opens up room for austin daye and ben gordon to get more minutes. However, i dont really like it for portland becasue rip is also overpaid and he plays the same position as roy, wes mathews and rudy fernanadez. Just not sure there is enough need for rip to validate the money. As for sac, it can go either way. Prince is a solid starting sf and bayless would be given the opportunity to finally break out. Im also not as high on casppi, thompson or greene as many others are. BUt those are 3 young prospects and the kings are looking to the future, so that trade could go either way for them.

SwatLakeCityParticipantThat first one almost happened. Toronto is still looking to do it too. Although since Toronto almost got it done once but at the last second Larry Brown pulled out, I’m not quite sure if Toronto will get the trade to go through. Brown just may be to dedicated to Augustin and the success he could have. (Don’t count Augustin out quite yet, he could be a real gem for the Bobcats. He hasn’t really had the playing time to show what he can do.)
As for the second one. I like it too. But I’m not quite sure Portland will accept it because they already have so many guards and now acquire another one in Rip. They will probably try and get Fernandez involved too. They might even include Fernandez instead of Bayless. (And Tyreke does start at the 2. If I’m not mistaken this will be the starting lineup: Udrih, Evans, Casspi, Landry, Cousins. Tyreke also started at the 2 last year as well, while Udrih started at the point.)

llperezbeno udrih started 41 times last year and even when he did, tyreke ran point just as much as he did.

BriguyParticipantSacramento gives up both Greene,Casspi and JThompson for a old Tayshaun prince and a black hole named Jerryd Bayless …let alone we gain Prince bad contract …..
why does everyone think Sacramento is going to just give up talent for old overpayed and useless blackholes …giving up 3 Talents .. for 2 … no thanks

TRC1991Participantbayless and evans in the backcourt has potential written all over it…along with a veteran defensive forward and a solid inside duo with cousins/landry, that team would be dirty

Mr. 19134ParticipantBayless is a stud and him and Reke would play well together, Bayless can guard opposing PG’s leaving Evans to guard the 2 spot. And on offense Bayless can run around screens and display his catch and shoot ability. Bayless is still a stud people are getting him twisted because Portland has been hiding him. Well he averaged 14 points and 4 assists in 6 playoff games last year and Im’ not sure if he even turned 22 yet?
I wouldn’t trade Thompson tho if I were the Kings not in that deal.
