IndianaBasketballParticipantReports are that there is a three team trade going down that’ll send T-Mac to New York and Kevin Martin to Houston.
Does anybody know all of the pieces?

0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 8:34pm #257515

IndianaBasketballParticipantI meant all of the pieces. I corrected that.
Reports are that T-Mac will end up in NY or Sac by tomorrow’s 3PM trading deadline.

knicksfan7ParticipantWhere did you find that out?? Are you for real??
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 8:42pm #257519

IndianaBasketballParticipantYes… All of the trade reports aren’t out yet, but will be soon. I’m trying to find out all of the other pieces now.

knicksfan7ParticipantI am reading on someone’s twitter the trade is Kevin Martin to Houston and T-Mac, Carl Landry, and others to Sacto. Though, if the Knicks can make a deal with the Kings to get McGrady, that would be great.

rickyD510Participantyahoo sports is better then b.s.p.n they usually crack the stories first

IndianaBasketballParticipantWow… Houston let go of Carl Landry? I’m shocked…
More news is the deal sending Tyrus Thomas and Jerome James to NY for Al Harrington is almost a done deal.

SpencerIsHawesome2ParticipantThe Sacramento Kings are in advanced talks with the Houston Rockets on a trade that will swap Kevin Martin(notes) for Tracy McGrady(notes), league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Along with Martin, the Kings will send Sergio Rodridguez, Hilton Armstrong(notes) and Kenny Thomas(notes) to the Rockets. Joey Dorsey(notes) and Carl Landry(notes) will go to the Kings.
per yahoo sports

knicksfan7ParticipantWhy is getting Ty Thomas good for the Knicks he has a qualifying offer, what if no one goes for the qualifying does that mean the Knicks have to keep him??
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 8:51pm #257528

rickyD510Participantlandry is a HUGE pickup for the kings if it goes through
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 8:52pm #257530

SpencerIsHawesome2Participanti love it… carl landry lets go!!
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 8:55pm #257532

IndianaBasketballParticipantWow… I’m super shocked they let go of Landry. He’s a BEAST and will be a fan favorite. HUGE pickup.

knicksfan7ParticipantI am sooo confused. Where is T-Mac going??
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 8:57pm #257534

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Knicks won’t have to keep Tyrus… He does have a qualifying offer, but it’s held by the team. They can decline it, which they will.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m not sure how yet, but the Knicks are expected to get in the trade and get T-Mac from the Kings… I’m still waiting for all of the details.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 9:04pm #257544

SpencerIsHawesome2ParticipantTMac isn’t going to start
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 9:04pm #257545
knicksfan7ParticipantI am reading the twitters through google, and I am reading about how T-Mac and Sergio are coming to the Knicks. I hope any of this means Jared Jeffries is gone.

SpencerIsHawesome2Participanti dont see the kings taking on jeffries contract
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 9:08pm #257547

rickyD510Participantyou really think so.. i think he eventually will once casspi hits the wall and casspi can play some 2
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 9:09pm #257549

SpencerIsHawesome2Participantassuming tmacs staying here he is only gonna be on the team for 1/3 of a season.. start the guy you know will be on the team long term so he can develop
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 9:13pm #257553
knicksfan7ParticipantThis trade seems like if the knicks-kings-rockets do not get something worked out by 3pm Thursday, then it will just be the Kings and Rockets.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/17/2010 - 9:53pm #257564

leftyballer24Participantits a done deal… the only thing is the kings dont know if they wanna keep him or trade him to the knicks buts hes out of houston
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/18/2010 - 12:36am #257584
YurpleHazEParticipanti agree im seriously shocked houston gave up carl landry…i know he’s pissed right about now…on that note its a great pick up by the kings adds instant strength off the bench there going to be nice next season
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/18/2010 - 12:45am #257583
NYK2010ParticipantInteresting trade the Rockets got a big time scorer but gave up on Carl Landry. They are already an undersized team. Guess they feel Yao will be healthy next year.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/18/2010 - 1:01am #257585
NYK2010ParticipantSmart move for the Kings get rid of Kmart’s contract and got back Landry.
If the Knicks offered Hughes, Mobley, Jeffries for Tmac now and either throw in some 1st round picks maybe Kings go for it who knows. Kings don’t need Jordan Hill they have plenty of big men now. Mobley’s contract would help since insurance pays most of the contract.
I figured Walsh was too smart to give up all those picks and Jordan Hill for cap room.0 - AuthorPosts
