NJnetskiddParticipant1) Shaquille O’Neal-” The Diesel” the most dominate interior force the game has ever seen…4 rings..12x all-star.. 3x finals mvp… 1x league mvp
2) Hakeem Olajuwon- “The Dream” pretty post player and defensive force- 2 rings.. 12x all-star.. 2x defensive player of the year..1x league mvp… 1x finals mvp
3) Tim Duncan- “Mr. Fundamental” some might argue he is a PF, but I disagree..4x rings.. 11x allstar.. 3x finals mvp…2x league mvp
4) David Robinson” The Admiral”… 2 rings..10x all-star… 1x league mvp…1x defensive player of the year
5) Patrick Ewing- never winning a title knocks him down a notch…11x all-star… 2x gold medalist

WildDudeParticipantTim Duncan is more of a PF but nice list, I’m not exactly sure about the #1 and #2 spots because Akeem did own Shaq when they played eachother.

Jimmy BlazeParticipantPretty on point. I know its entirely speculation now, but Arvidas Sabonis was one of the best centres i’ve seen play the game. If he was able to play NBA when he was initially drafted one wonders what could have been.

JoeWolf1before Sabonis’ knees gave out he was a legitimate athletic center, in the 88′ Olympics he was a terror and adapted his game once he lost some of his athleticism, I don’t think he would have been a top 5 center of the past 25 years, but probably top ten, he was definatley better than Rik Smits, Big Z, Mutumbo, and others

Adi JosephI’ll leave Duncan as a PF because the first half of his career was played there.
1. Shaquille O’Neal
2. Hakeem Olajuwon
3. David Robinson
4. Patrick Ewing
5. Alonzo Mourning
6. Dikembe Mutombo
Howard and Yao have big shadows to live in if they want to crack that list. Requires 10 years of excellence, minimum.

the barronParticipantI consider Tim Duncan more of a PF and both Kareem and Robert Parish are a bit before this time
1. Shaq
2. Olajuwon
3. David Robinson
4. Patrick Ewing
5. Alonzo Mourning
6. Vlade Divac
7. Dikembe Mutumbo
8. Arvydas Sabonis(agree if he played in the late 80’s he might be top 3-4)0 - AuthorPosts
