Which teams would you like to get the top 3 picks in the draft lottery this year? Assuming they go in this order: Wembanyama, Henderson, then Miller.

    I’d want:
    1. San Antonio: great spot to develop a big man
    2. Washington: a team that needs a high end point guard. They don’t do well sitting on benches. My sleeper pick would be Toronto to replace VanVleet. And if Toronto moves up, Dallas would have to forfeit their pick which would be ideal.
    3. Charlotte: a good wing to go with Ball. Helps them recover after the Bridges issue..

Detroit and Houston have had the last two top picks so I’d like Wemby to go elsewhere – the Spurs would be perfect place for him to develop and Chlarlotte to have him go to MJ’s team opens up all the marketing dream scenarios.

If Spurs don’t get Wemby I’d like them to get Scoot as they need a PG too. Not adverse to Pistons or Rockets getting 2nd pick.

No problems with Pistons or Rockets being 3rd and taking Miller he’d be a good fit on either. Charlotte getting a chance to move up to see what they would do with a shot at Miller intrigues me.

Portland moving up to have a shot at Wemby and pair him with Dame would be my fun wildcard.

Hmm… if that’s the order, I’d hope the draft goes
1 – Spurs (I think most unbiased want Wemby to go to the Spurs)
    2 – Rockets (I’d love to see a Scoot/Green/Eason/Smith/Sengun lineup)
3 – Blazers (Sorry Pistons, I thought of you here.)

On a side note though, Brandon Miller is good enough to be a top 3 pick, but Amen Thompson is just as good. I can see a world where Amen Thompson goes 2nd if the Spurs are sitting there. They might consider it. On the other hand if the Pistons were the 4th pick in this scenario already here, I can see a world where Amen falls to 5 and Whitmore climbs to 4 based off of need. It’s not that far of a reach if you already have Ivey and Cunningham. Lottery order will determine a lot of things…

Good points Norrin, always hard to think of BPA vs need and I feel there has to be an excellent reason to not take BPA when you are on a sub 25 win team.

Spurs taking Amen over Scoot would be a big call and might a team then get a call from say the Magic looking to move up to get a shot at SCoot – they have two lotteru picks plus all those young bigs so they have trade material there?

The Mavs had Porz but it didn’t work out but Wemby and Luka would be fun and they would be a hot bed to add title chasing vets if they clicked.

Utah getting top pick to see Ainge doing a lap of honour after hitting rebuild button would be fun. Kessler and Wemby as a twin towers would be a blocking nightmare.

Lol, can tell you’re all not Piston fans 😂
Well, I am so I want Wemby to the Pistons at 1. Cade, Ivey, Bogdanovic, Wemby, Duren would be a very interesting starting 5. If we don’t get #1, then I’d prefer he go somewhere like the Spurs. I don’t want him at Houston.
Charlotte has been a bit unlucky, I’d wanna maybe see them get a top 3 pick. So if I had to pick the top 3, I’d go
    1: Detroit – Wemby
    2: Spurs – Scoot
    3: Charlotte – Miller
