4. Vince Carter

6. Shaquille O’Neal

the I in winParticipantI don’t liked putting Wilt on the list. He wasn’t slow but not that fast, had skinny little arms so all the claims of him being so strong are bull, and his vertical doesn’t blow me away. Same with shaq to.
Shawn Kemp anyone?

wuteverParticipantShawn Kemp was nasty! But Shaq was ridiculously athletic when he was young and skinny. A young David Robinson and a young Alonzo, should get some love as well. Spud Webb, Dwight Howard, Gerald Green, and there are a lot out there that we probably not giving love out there too because they were very athletic but not that great at basketball..

seecocoaballParticipantendurance strength speed vertical etc, is athleticism.

thaprodigyParticipantShawn Kemp in his prime has to be on this list. Did you see the things he did on the court, just drive down the lane cuff the ball and slam it on you @ will.

festar35ParticipantVince would be my number 1. Do is a freak of nature.

Killer_kat12345ParticipantHello… The Admiral was one of THE greatest athletes in the NBA…
The man was a chiselled 7 foot defensive monster who could sprint the court and then post you up, and either blow past you, over power you or shoot the mid range jumper…The man was incredible especially for a man his size…
I have a problem with the fact you put James White on it… sure I’m not saying he isn’t a great dunker… but thats it…
David Robinson was a beast on the court!

HaakaanParticipantWilt #1. Hands down. The footage we get to see of him now doesn’t do him justice, because he was older, and the game back then didn’t permit him to display his gift as much as it does today (shattering a backboard would have been incredibly disrespectful).
Even on NBA.com they recently rated him at #1. People that big shouldn’t be that athletic.

StarbucksSucksParticipantI know he could only really finish righty no matter which direction he went, but how many good players got HUMILIATED knowing he was going right? Clyde was an elite athlete. @ Joewolf that pic does put Wilt in perspective. WHOA!

JoeWolf1Granted this picture is absurd, but Wilt didn’t have skinny little arms. The man was 7′ foot tall, but they were about the size of Arnolds if you’ve ever seen Conan the Destroyer.

He also high jumped 6’6” in college back when they scissor kicked, he was a great athlete
AND seecocoball! Kenny Gregory was such a disappointment!!! I don’t even think he ever played an NBA game!!! right out of college he was playing for the USBL’s Dodge City, KS team. I know the dude could jump, but just because you saw him in a McDonalds All-American game doesn’t mean he ever set foot on an NBA court

JoeWolf1StarbucksSucks, I totally agree about Clyde, before Vince was jumping over 7 footers Clyde was doing the same thing, this is one of my favorite Clyde highlights from when he was in college.

JoeWolf1I second checked my hunch to be sure about Kenny Gregory and he never even played an NBA game.

IndianaBasketballParticipantIs Vince Carter really one of the greatest NBA ATHLETES of all time or just one of the greatest leapers? I think there’s a huge difference between the two.
