JNixonParticipantIt’s a huge setback for a guy, especially considering that he hasn’t gotten alot better and shown the upside to be the phenom everyone expected. This is basically like a year for him to not develop his basketball skills, but he does have strength and will be alot more explosive in his lower body when he heals from the injury. I like ol Tony Wroten and think he’s a great playmaker, how does this shake up the 2011 class?

Michael.S.ParticipantI like him 2. He is a very unselfish player and explosive scorer. Has the skill set of a young penny I think he can be extremely special, this is no big deal

GrandmamaParticipantIsn’t a big deal Mike? A torn ACL is a major deal, especially in a sport where athleticism and quickness are essential.

thunderforthewinParticipantit depends on how tony himself looks at it
he could be depressed about it and not get any better and become alot worse and out of talks of the nba
OR he could get over it rehab sucessfully, gain strength during the out of action time by hitting the gym and come back revitilised and better than before
never write off a player after an injury
for example i still think shaun livingston can be good player in the L0 - Posted on: Tue, 09/22/2009 - 8:37am #214874
