sheltwon3ParticipantHe are my picks.
Anthony Davis
Harrison Barnes
Thomas Robinson
Michael Kidd Gilchrist
Andre Drummonds
Damian Lillard
Jared Sullinger
Tyler Zeller
Bradley Beal
Terrence Ross
There are some other guys that I think will be pretty good but these guys to be me are certain to be reliable starters in a year or two. Other players it depends on where the go
I like Austin Rivers but depending on where he goes, he could be a 6th man at best. Same thing with Lamb, Waiters, Moutrie and a few others.

sheltwon3ParticipantReason I picked these players is their unique NBA ready skill.
Anthony Davis(number one pick and he should get minutes to learn on the fly. Davis is NBA ready in rebound and blocking. He will get time to work on his offense)
Harrison Barnes(NBA ready scorer right)
Thomas Robinson(athletic can rebound and if he measures 6’10 with shoes it put him with very good company)
Michael Kidd Gilchrist( can defend at a high level and he hustles. Last years draft will definely help him)
Andre Drummonds(He is legit big man and should be a solid contributer in his second year if not some his first year)
Damian Lillard(NBA ready shooter and scorer. He can get in the paint and with the new rules he will be a force to be reckoned with)
Jared Sullinger(big body can bang and can rebound)
Tyler Zeller(serviceable Center that can play right away but will not dominate)
Bradley Beal(He will be able to show more in the NBA than he was able to show at Florida especially if he has a better point guard)
Terrence Ross(legit stroke, he is my dark horse guy to shock a lot of people and be a starter over people drafted and give more hype)

bloodshyParticipantAll we’ve heard for two years is how this draft is extremely strong. No one is saying this draft is weak.

DolanCareParticipantyea no one is saying this draft class is weak. Many are saying that there is a significant dropoff from Anthony Davis and everyone else, but that’s a very different conversation. AD has the potential to be a superstar of historical proportions…. from pick 2- pick 8 is a separate category. After AD the picks are a gamblers choice. Each offer a unique skillset, but talent wise it’s kinda splitting hairs. I don’t want to mimick what other analysts say, but it’s not like the NBA Draft 2007 where Durant was a no-brainer 2nd pick.
For this draft, Charlotte has a legit arguement in taking Drummond, MKG, Robinson, Beal or Barnes. Obviously everyone has their biases, but any of those could fly without an upcry

r377ParticipantI like this years draft class. I think it is quite deep and there will be a few surprising players coming from the mid frist round onwards that will have solid NBA careers. While its too hard to say, here a few i think might do well – may not be NBA starters but will contribute and have a NBA career…..
Harkless, T-Jones, Royce White, Draymond Green, Will Barton, Tony Wroten.
I personally think this years draft class will be good…..

sheltwon3ParticipantThere are people saying this draft class is weak. You guys forget how you have scouts and gms saying only Davis will be worth taking. You have the Nets saying that they gave up their pick because there was no one in the draft that they wanted.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI Did hear New Orleans coach say he wasnt too impressed with this year’s draft..Williams was refering to the fact that unlike previous draft you had a legitimate immedite franchise changing talent like a Ewing

cidjulianParticipantAnthony Davis, Michael Kidd Gilchrist, Jared Sullinger, Bradley Beal, Andrew Albicy and Royce White are the ones that I believe will be starters eventually. Beal and Davis are probably the only 2 that will start from day one though. Royce White is the only one that I am not super confident will be a starter for sure but he will no doubt have a solid NBA career. He reminds me soooo much of Anthony Mason and with the pick and roll being so popular, I just can’t imagine him not getting playing time soon.
I think Andre Drummonds is going to be a gigantic bust!!! How high he goes will determine if he’s an "epic" bust or just a giagantic bust. I am not a fan of Barnes but I think he will have a 10 plus year career based around a role/box score expectations similar to Marvin Williams in Atlanta. Coming out of HS, I honestly thought he was the next Pippen but not anymore.
Tony Wroten is the one that brings the most question marks to mind. He can either be a bust or fuck around and have a hall of fame career, I honestly would not be surprised either way. He’s capable of eventually putting up 20, 5 and 5 a night but he bounced early and I don’t really think he’s ready to go so lack of playing time may set him back greatly.
Andrew Albicy is the sleeper of the draft. Dude can start in the league and most are saying he may not even get drafted. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaang!!!

AKOOParticipantNot sure Tyler Zeller will be a longterm starter in the league and I am torn on Ross also. Other than that I like your list but like others say most think this is a stacked deep draft. I am actually one that thinks its overblown though

fliptonnParticipantYoure telling me you don’t think Kendall Marshall, Perry Jones, Terrence Jones or Tyler Zeller will be starters? I could see them starting their rookie year. I’m a big critic of rookies coming into the league every year and I’m quick to point out a weak draft class or a guy who I don’t think will be all that good in the NBA but this draft class is stacked. There are guys projected to go late first early second who could be legit (Royce White, Quincy Miller, Festus Ezeli, Darius Miller). Even guys like Malik Wayns, Kim English, and Jared Cunningham could find their roles as impact players on the right teams.

sheltwon3ParticipantI like those guy dli but they all have question marks. I was only picking players that I knew for sure had skills that would automatically make them a starter at some point. Kendall Marshall will have to go to the right team because his lack of shooting will hurt him early on. Rondo did not start his first year. Perry Jones is a red flag because he could be the best player in this draft or he could be below average. I am not high on Terrence Jones. Zeller if drafted by the Bucks may get starter minutes off the back because they traded away Bogut.

Sewok15ParticipantI like Crowder and DJO in the 2nd round as potential sleepers for sure.

TallmanNYCParticipantYou might have some management saying this class is weak, but it probably management from bad teams. So Brooklyn traded its pick because there was no one they wanted to draft. But that is because starting with Billy King they are bad at management and analyzing talent. These organizations need someone else to tell them who is good and how is not and generally even then they can’t figure it out. If you can’t find a guy in this draft who has a good chance to be worth a guaranteed two year $1 million a year salary, you are an idiot. There are sure fire NBA starters like Jae Crowder (this year’s Kawhi Leonard) who are going to go in the second round.
