TC_42ParticipantThis site still has Motie going at 4, but many having him sliding out of the lottery. Chad Ford has him at 16. That’s a huge disparity… it will be interesting to see where he goes. Would you want him on your team?
Personally, I would love to see the Thunder trade up a little bit to get him (if he’s outside the lottery, obviously). Last year, Presti showed the willingness to move up. Although it didn’t really work out… he didn’t have to give up much to do it.
I just think they need a big man who can score. No team in recent memory has not had a big capable of putting up 15+ a game. Motie could give Westbrook another option and take some pressue off him and Durant.
I just don’t see Ibaka ever putting up more than 12pts a game.
They need to let Mohammed walk… he’s been terrible in the playoffs.
A big man rotation of Ibaka, Perkins, Motie, and Collison could be nice.

torontoraptors10ParticipantScouts remain concerned about several aspects of Lithuanian power forward Donatas Motiejunas’s game.
"He doesn’t really love basketball," a Central Division executive says. "He doesn’t seem to appear to like to do anything that’s even a little difficult. That scares you a little bit. The only thing he gets an excellent on is offensive rebounding and putbacks, and that’s because he’s doing it against midgets."
Said an Atlantic Division exec: "Right now, it’s not even close. Vesely is a player and Motiejunas is an unknown. I’ve seen him play too many times when he would get two rebounds, three rebounds. He’s projected in all these mocks to go top 10. I don’t think so. I think he lacks passion for the game. He looks like he’s got short arms. That might be a factor.
"He gets pushed under (the basket) a lot and then he reaches up. Guys are going up over him to get rebounds. He lacks fire, lacks emotion. Always has the same demeanor on the court. If you’re 7 feet tall and you have any hope of coming over here you have to be, routinely, getting 10, 11 boards … I can’t get excited about him."

butidonthavemoneyFord actually had him in the 20s not too long ago, so his stock seems to be improving. He had a couple big performances a few weeks back, including a 31 point, 14 rebound outburst.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantMotiejunas kills bad teams. He destroyed the LKL with Aisciai. He was an All-Star and 20-7 in the same league that Valanciunas is getting praised for getting 12-7 in (shhh I shouldn’t write that about Jonas, it is nonsensical hating, everyone is going to be an All-Star). He moved to Benetton and has been able to destory the bad Italian clubs, but tends to disappear against the good squads. The international players are going to rise up because of the weakness in this year’s NCAA ranks, but in reality the international crop isn’t special either.

scliddiardParticipantFor the same reason Donatas is critisized or listed lower on some mock drafts, his lack of fire, aggressiveness, love of the game, tenacity, is the same reason I like Biyombo, Biyombo is very long but not just that he is very active, loves the game, gives tremendous energy, is very aggressive. That is why he is leading the league in blocked shots and near the top in rebounds in the top league in Europe.
