He said in the media :"I pretty much don’t listen to what everybody has to say about me or my game or what I’ve done with my career,"

Flashback to 2010 KingJames tweet: "Don’t think for one [minute] that I haven’t been taking mental notes of everyone taking shots at me this summer. And I mean everyone!"

Just read the notes from that press conference; wow, that was ugly. Dude has no dignity and keeps f*cking up because he knows deep down this was all a horrible mistake.

Omphalos is right, there were a couple of things in that press confrence that LeBron said that didn’t help his cause. He doesn’t know how to handle tough situations on the court or in an interview. He was contradicting throughout the interview and he said some things that showed he’s not in touch with reality.

The guy only finished High School and if not for basketball wouldn’t even done so… No wonder his IQ reflects on interviews and conferences when he has to say something smart… Lebron just shut up and work even harder this summer so we won’t see another 8pts performance in the playoffs next year…

He basically said, for all the fans who rooted against him, that tomorrow they have to go back to their miserable lives, while he and his rich family will still be rich and do whatever it is they want to do. I think he just lost a million more fans. The world knows he is rich and overrated he doesnt have to say it.

I agree with Fizer, I love Dirk and all but I’m more excited for Jason Kidd.

Lebron often defers the question to wade because he is afraid he will say something stupid and get in trouble.

I think lebron is starting to deteriorate for some reason he just isn’t the scorer he used to be and i think his numbers will dip next season

I don’t think Lebron is an idiot because he didn’t go to college and most likely didn’t try hard in class to do so.  Knowing the history of western civilization, how to write a research paper in proper MLA format or college level calculus wouldn’t make Lebron any less of an ass-hole or come accross any more mature.

He’s just a guy who’s been told his &$#%#&@! didn’t stink since he was 15 years old, the guy who drove a hummer around in his high school and the guy who when he won his first MVP pulled up to his old high school in a Lamborgini and had a pep rally.  No matter how composed he tries to be he’s just super immature because when you’re a guaranteed millionaire when you’re 16 you don’t need to be overly resiliant, or have to be mature.  Lebron is a great player, but he does care, I think omphalos is right too, I think he knows he made a mistake and it’s too late and he’s never gonna admit it.  He’s gonna put on his poker face and get defensive and until he matures as a person it’s not going to change.

Thank God for the summer, though, I’m tired of hearin’ about this dude, lol

     JoeWolf said it perfectly.

LeBron has been told that he would be the next big thing when he was still a child. How can you keep any kind of maturity after that. You look at players that had to fight for what they have attained and have worked their asses off to achieve the greatness they became (note: Larry Bird, Michael Jordon, etc), LeBron never had that. He skated through his life so far being paid way more than he should have to play a game. Sure he is a fantastic player but in some ways, he was in no way ready to come to the NBA right from high school. He has all the physical tools people dream about.. but check his head, his stableness, his tendency to crack under pressure. This guy is a great player but he will always be the kind of player that will carry an asterisk next to his name simply because he teamed up with already established players and tried to take it all and (so far has) failed. That’s on him. Three straight bad games is one thing in the regular season.. But in games in the Finals that will decide who wins the series, any good superstar would check themselves and right that situation after the first bad game. I’m an admitted Heat hater but come on, even the guys that are on the Heat’s jock know that LeBron couldn’t come through for them and that maybe he should’ve stayed in Cleveland (or else go somewhere with more team play).

In my opinion, he’s a completely different player than what we all think. Is he the next Jordan? No absolutely not. Is he the next Kobe? Closer comparison but still way off. Is he the LeBron we all think we know? No, I don’t think even LeBron knows which way is up right now.
