Ghost01ParticipantMad props.
Take over. Close out. FU Mode.
All of the above. Pierce dont "own" Lebron no more. Congrats on the best player in the league being the best player in the league.

KayjayParticipantThe only word that can describe what I saw. He struggled all game long, and came through at the one time where people said he would be ineffective, the clutch. He not only gave Miami a lead, he hit a dagger as well.

omphalosParticipantThis frustrates me, yes, Lebron made buckets down the stretch, but Wade was carrying the Heat on both ends for much of that game. Lebron is going to ride Wade to a ring and still get all the credit somehow. Wade remains very underrated.

Ghost01Participantomphalos. Everyone knows Wade played great. He played so great, and ended up with one more point than Lebron when Lebron was pretty midsy until the very end. That was a straight take over. That was slamming the door shut on your opponent. YOu have to be impressed with that. Wade didnt hit back to back dagger 3s. Lebron did.

Bvilleballer21ParticipantLol…LeBron "riding" Wade to a ring….LeBron was the one carrying in the clutch the last 2 games and almost all of game 4. They "ride" each other…That’s why they just beat Boston in 5.

oden07Participantyea its pretty much a two headed monster (3 if you want to count bosh lol) but lebron did take over at the end so people need to give him credit but i guess there will still be people that are gonna say it was all wade even though lebron is the best player in the league

omphalosParticipantYeah okay, I was hating haha, I’m a disgruntled Celtics fan, cut me some slack.
Really frustrating watching your ageing team fight off two of the most athletic guys in the L only to falter in the final couple of minutes though.
My bad.

mikeyvthedonParticipantTakes courage. Man, Wade was incredible yesterday, and they have been just about equally impressive in the play-offs thus far. I think LeBron is the best player in the world right now, but still believe Kobe and Wade are not exactly far behind. But, people need to stop caring who is carrying who, if they win it is on both of them, if they lose it is the same. Wade was killing it yesterday, to the point where my friend who had disputed me on this claim sent me a text saying "Wade>Durant". But, LeBron at the end of that game, had just a fantastic stretch and put it out of reach. 35 for Wade, 34 for LeBron, but LeBron finally had that clutch performance people have been waiting for. I think they were both equally instrumental in them winning the series, and it is ridiculous how close their numbers are at this point in the play-offs.
Wade: 26.2 ppg, 5 apg, 1.7 spg, 1.3 bpg, 48% shooting
LeBron: 26.1 ppg, 4.9 apg, 1.3 spg, 1.3 bpg, 47% shooting
They are both averaging fewer than 3 turnovers per game, which is amazing by their standards and LeBron is averaging 9.4 rpg, though Dwyane is still at a fantastic 7.6. They have both been incredible and pretty much equally valuable. The Bulls will be a totally different beast, and more than likely require Wade to take on Rose as a defensive assignment, which may put more of the scoring on LeBron’s shoulders. Still, I do not think people are discrediting what Dwyane Wade has done, he has been a complete monster during the play-offs and is playing at an incredibly high level. I think people just want to find a reason to create a tension between them so as to lessen their accomplishments. It is pretty wack, and I hope that people just enjoy the fact that these guys did something different, they took Boston as a blueprint and wanted to try and have that same success.
When you go back and look at the Celtics trades, especially the Kevin Garnett trade, they were pretty monumentally unfair. The Sonics/Thunder were lucky enough to had drafted Kevin Durant, so that was not really effected by the trade, though you could say that trading Ray Allen for Jeff Green maybe lead them to being in a position to draft Russell Westbrook, so that turned out alright. But, look at the Timberwolves since they have traded KG. They are a mess! That trade got them next to nothing! Al Jefferson turned out to be the only major piece that stuck around, and what exactly did they get out of trading him to Utah? The Celtics got a ring out of the deal, and remained incredibly competitive for the past few years. You cannot exactly blame the Miami guys for wanting to do what those guys did at a younger age and see how far it can go.

Jlv2011Lebron actually wins a ring. Luckily he’s got a true champion like Wade to help him.
