So seemingly many of the same teams have been in the lottery for around half a decade. Which team do you think will climb out of their present organizational woes the quickest? Specifically, which team will make themselves into a perrenial playoff contender the fastest from this time on.

Please omit Indiana as I’m hopeful that Paul George comes back healthy & has Indy back in the playoffs as sure the bottom of the east wont be hard to climb for a team getting their all-star back who just missed the playoffs this past year as the 9th seed. Also please omit okc as well, Kevin durant will be healthy.

Please combine your most careful logic and heartfelt faith while discarding any bias.

My team is Sacramento, my team is the mavs but their pieces keep getting oldolder and same with the spurs. The blazers future seems uncertain with Aldridge rumors and Matthews money demands. I feel sac’s team is young, has boogie, added a defender in wcs to assist him in the frontcourt. What they need now is a solid point guard. R.Jackson is around, maybe throw more money at knight, or try and trade for holiday. s_b_n

Utah towards the end of last season have been winning a lot of games. They have a great young core in Hayward, Burke, Burks, Exum, Hood, Favors, Gobert and recently drafted Lyles. Their team is much more stable compare to Sacramento right now. All they need now is depth and they are set.

I know they haven’t been down as long (3yr rebuild) but they’ve nailed the draft every one of those years and are poised to be a playoff team as soon as this upcoming year. If not them then the obvious answer is Minnesota…they might be a couple of years away from making a playoff appearance, but once they get in they’re going to be a problem for the forseeable future.

Reports are Lakers clearing space for the addition of both Jordan and Aldridge. They would be in the playoff picture with those two additions imo.

I did read that report but it seems very far fetched. Both players are seeking Max contracts and Kobe is already under contract for 25 million. Even if they trade everybody else on their roster that only leaves about 42 million dollars to sign both big guys. I can see them getting one big guy but not 2. They are going to a team that was one of the worst in the league last year to play with an aging Superstar with a reputation for being selfish and he hasn’t finsihed a season healthy in a while…LA just isn’t as appealing as it was 5-10 years ago.

     Sacto is a tire fire.

I’d say of lottery teams, it’s Det.  They have a future top 10 player and that tends to help.

Future Top-10 player? I’d throw that comment in the tire fire too.

Career 39% FT Shooter? Fringe All-Star at best.
