White ChocolateParticipantInteresting I guess the T-Wolves don’t think that Rubio will be coming any time soon or the T-Wolves don’t think that there is a player at #10 that they would like who knows!

Brace94ParticipantDuhhh! everyone knows Rubio won’t come to Minnesota. And everyone knows Rubio will be a bust, and Flynn is gonna be a beast. That’s why the T-Wolves are gonna trade Rubio because he is no good, and someone will take a chance on him. I hope Rubio will be good, but i dont think he will.

severinParticipantI think they would be willing to deal flynn but will want more in exchange. rightfully so. Smart of the T-wolves.

ajk004Participant#10 for a capable PG is a nice deal for Indiana, but so-so for most other teams. Someone might bite on draft day, but I’d be surprised to see any team pull the trigger on 10 for PG prior to seeing picks 1-9 during the draft. It also doesn’t appear to say anything about Rubio good or bad as he isn’t expected on the T wolf roster until 2011 or 2012.

mikeyvthedonParticipantConsidering they took Flynn at 6 last year. Would be a big cop out, unless they had some masterful insight into whoever they took at 10 being a baller. My guess is, they give Flynn the reins to start the year, or maybe even for a full year, than possibly package him with some other players for something solid on the wing (probably a 2 guard, and maybe some depth in the post). They think Flynn is a baller, but I am sure they want Rubio to come over eventually. The problem of course is, Rubio is not coming next year, for sure. He is staying in Europe at least one more year, and by 2011-12, MAY come over (still not a sure thing, though by the time he is 21, I am guessing he will be in the NBA barring massive ridiculous lockout). So, Kahn’s thinking is that Flynn might turn into great trade bait for a team that wants a “potential All-Star PG” (at least in David Kahn’s mind). So, does that still make him a bad GM? More than likely, but at least it seems like he has the good sense to know not to play them together, and hopefully he has faith in Flynn to be worth more than a 10 in this years draft for a 6 from last years.

kanebangerParticipantim not big on flynn but a #10 for flynn in a weak pg draft class and the wolves dont have anyone to take flynns spot at pg really dont even say sessions. the wolves kind of need flynn. its amazing that the wolves took 4 pgs last year and wouldnt have anyone to take flynns spot

mds0549ParticipantWhy would the Wolves make that trade? A top 6 player that came out after 1 year and played decently on a terrible team…he is worth more to them than a later pick.
