To be fair, that was a great move. Though, why on earth is Nick Young trying to jump to block that kid? Just keep your damn hands up, that thing is getting swatted, lol. Great video, that is something to remember for a lifetime. I have gotten to play a famous person (non-basketball famous, lol) in basketball, it was awesome. Will wait until the summer ends to tell the story, because it could happen again and I have to keep it on the DL. Still, definitely made my day and will be a lasting memory.

Not sure if this has ever been posted, though it kind of goes with the topic of scoring on a NBA player. This is a video of Michael Ingram (think that is his name) giving MJ a 50th birthday shoutout. 16 years earlier, at a MJ Flight School camp at UCSB, he got to play Mike one-on-one. He admits that Michael was not going all out, but he scores 3 nice buckets to take it, including a couple beautiful step backs. I know there is no way I would have had the poise to play as well as he did in the short game, think it is pretty awesome. Give props to both Mike’s for this one, if you have never seen it, definitely worth a watch. If you have, I thought it was great to watch again.

His elite status allowed him to do very great things for others, but he was hardly a class act. the man blew through the Chicago nightlife like a tornado, and didnt care about who got in his way. lots of stories of crazy behaviour in bars and night clubs.

The Lakers should beg him to stay!

Maybe this time it will work.

I’m not trying to defend Swaggy P because I don’t like him as a player, but… why on earth would he even try to win that 1-on-1 against that kid?
