Best Player: Evan Turner, he simply does everything well as a player. He’s the best player out there, maybe not the best long-term prospect, but he’s the best and most NBA ready player out there. Early prediction: Evan Turner will be the Rookie of the Year in the 2010-2011 season

Best Team: The Kansas….State Wildcats!!! Lol..I’ll be honest and say the hated Jayhawks lol. They have alot of depth, talent and good coaching. I think they’ll be in the title game come season end.

Most Underrated Prospect: Iman Shumpert. He has legit PG and SG skills. He’s not a 2 playing the 1 or a 1 playing the 2. He’s a LEGIT combo guard. And he’s a NBA level defender and athlete.

Most Overrated Prospect: Ed Davis. Hands down.

Most Impressive Freshman (besides John You-Know-Who): I’d say it’s Favors. Alot of people will say it’s Xavier Henry, but Favors has gotten better after every game I’ve watched him play. He probably won’t put up the Mike Beasley type numbers I expected, but 17 & 9 or 17 &10 is not out of the realm of possibility. He’s a dominating presence for the most part, even though he does need a few more moves.

Best Conference: The Big 12.

2 Prospects That Deserve More Mention: Dominique Jones. He plays for the horrible squad that is the South Florida Bulls, but he has not a 1 weak part of his game. Put it this way; If he played for Duke, Dick Vitale would be all on his Dick…..Vitale lol.

Most Underrated Player: I think Stephen Jackson is proving to be one of the more underrated players honestly. He helped the Warriors get better when he got there and now look at what he is doing with the Bobcats.

Biggest Disappointment (Player or Team):  Wizards & Raptors.  Both are off to rocky starts.  They are both too talented to be below .500.  Wizards have dealt with injuries which has hurt them some.  I think both teams will still make the playoffs though.  But yep up to this point they have underperformed.  Caron Butler has been struggling so far.

Biggest Suprise (Player or Team): Kings.  Before the season started I thought they would be the worst team in the league. Udrih, Rodiriguez, Thompson, & Greene have really stepped their game from last season.  Plus Casspi & Tyreke have made a very positive impact.

Best Team:  Magic…I was a huge fan of their offseason moves.  If they can get healthy & stay that way I think they will beat the Lakers.

Worst Team:  Knicks stink.  I think the Nets are better when they are 100% healthy.
