blackflash234ParticipantJust David Stern addressing the situation with Gilbert Arenas and Javaris Crittenton. It says it’s gonna start at 5:30 but may start a few minutes later

bobbybParticipantI hope for the Wizards sake, they are able to void Arenas’ contract.

llperezthey said that they were gonna be suspended for the rest the season. No surprise there, i was curious if it might be longer. In the end, i think the commissioner made a good call not going longer. In any case, the wizards should be able to void arena’s contract or get a discount or something. His actions make it very difficult for the team to market him to the fans as the franchise player and that is the main reason they gave him that big contract. He didn’t hold up his end of the bargain and i don’t see why the wiz should have to either.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t think people understand how hard it is to void a contract. I mean, Latrell Sprewell choked his coach and they STILL couldn’t get his contract voided. It’s VERY hard to void a player’s contract and is something the player’s union would fight hard for.
I seriously doubt they’ll void his contract.

llperezi doubt it too, it is almost impossible.

the I in winParticipantI think it shoudl be easier to void a contract, no reason Gilbert should get paid if he broke the agreements of his contract.
