gatorheelsParticipantGreat News….Golden State is one of my favorite teams and I’ve been saying they need to trade him since I started posting on this site. Don’t get me wrong I don’t dislike Jackson. He is a very good player but I just want to see Anthony Morrow get more playing time. Hopefully Maggette gets traded too haha. Overall I just feel the young guys need a chance to fully develop. Randolph, Morrow, Wright, & Curry should all get significant minutes this season but we all now how Coach Nelson operates.

nateoak10Participantlook at him and al’s past history, theyve done this type of stuff before and nothing happens. he will be with gsw dont worry about it unless he makes an official statement. and as for mikeandike’s trade. NO

JNixonParticipantI agree, the Mavs would be an ideal situation for Jackson. They would have to give up Shawn Marion or Drew Gooden though.

sheltwon3Participantnot a bad trade but Bucks kinda suck. Jackson to the Cavs does not appear to be happening but I am sure some team would trade for him because for what he provides on the court as a starter and shooter 7 millions is not bad. I do know who would make the trade though maybe.

if you add a draft pick to this this will work out well. New Orleans could use the fire power and young big man whom GSW will never use

xbadgerhustlerParticipantGator, I understand your point about the young players needing time to develop, but you don’t still believe they’ll make the playoffs if they trade jax and/or maggette do you?

Jazz get help on the perimeter and get some young players.
There is not much trouble Jack can get to in Utah I think. Also you have 5 millions dollars worth of expiring contracts.

Bobcats are not yet a winning team but they could make the playoffs possibly with this trade.
Port could do it but why would they lose cap space for Jack though. I dont see him being traded this year.

Da1potParticipantTrade him to the Knicks so he can be with his Protege buddy, AL Harrington! I agree that he definately needs to be traded though. He is a good player, but he is just not a winner and somneone you can make a championship run with. They should probably try to get a true point for him, maybe a sign and trade involving Sessions?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 08/29/2009 - 8:18am #207357

JNixonParticipantJackson made a championship run with the Spurs, but he was a 3-point shooting role player. If he gets a limited role and is a 2nd or 3rd option then your team is a title contender. With Dallas that would be the case.

sheltwon3ParticipantYall are right my bad. I made some tight trades too. I should have just copied and pasted.

thetruthParticipanti think jax would fit good with the nuggets, he would be good coming off the bench for them he could bring his scoring for them.
