Derrick Rose had 29 points for the Bulls, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Warriors, led by Curry’s 25 points and 11 assists.

Derrick came out to play for this one.. He looked like hes not ready to give his team away just yet. I really hope he returns to form soon.

It seems like he’s trying so hard to prove something.  When he does something good for his squad, he can’t smile about it, relax, and say "yeah i’m back baby" to anyone.  After he hits a shot he just gets angrier.

I think he has developed this reactionary attitude, the struggle of a prematurely falling star.  Its pretty sad.

He’s never going to be the player he was, but its like his competetive mind refuses to tell him so.  I remember when he said he dind’t want Lebron on his team, and I think I know why.  I think Rose has this idea of what real fundamental team basketball is a la the Spurs or GSW, but even moreso, he wanted to turn back and be a team like the 83 sixers or late 80s Pistons, or even pre-shotclock ball movement teams, with his futuristic athleticism.  Unfortunately, even though he could be a prototypical PG, his game is just not the same.

Derrick played well, but his team was never in the game.

What duel?  Did Curry even play in the 4th?  If I remeber correctly, the Dubs won by 32 and didnt see any kind of great duel between them?

The point of this post was just to say that Rose had a great game. Not necessarily who outplayed the other. Probably some poor word choice, but I don’t think he was comparing Rose to Curry, at least, I hope not. But yeah all he was saying was that Rose had a great game.
