White ChocolateParticipantThe Spurs are trying to trade up to get Ed Davis, particularly up to #10, but I think the Nuggets are going to get the #10 pick for Ty Lawson so the Spurs have to look somewhere else… the Jazz at #9? The deal that I came up with is the Spurs trade DeJuan Blair to the Jazz for the #9 pick, they get to keep their #20 pick and they get Ed Davis at #9. The only problem is I don’t know if they are willing to give up Blair, but for the #9 pick I think that they might. Would Utah do it? I think they would Blair is a proven player and he would be a great back-up/starter at power forward for them.
Thoughts?

blackflash234ParticipantBlair is a nice player but there’s absolutely no way Utah gives away the 9th pick for a player similar to a player they already have in Millsap. Spurs would have to offer more possibly their first rounder plus Blair to get Utah thinking.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantBlair= Milsap
Duncan= OldNO Numbers but this don’t add up.
Why would Utah Invest in another undersized bigman, don’t get me wrong blair is a nice player but i think spurs should keep him since duncan getting old. We’ve seen him have a 20/20 game this year, and alot of development. This Trade Crazy

White ChocolateParticipantWell Blair averaged 7.8 PPG, 6.4 RPG, and 0.8 APG in 18 MPG. I don’t know if San Antonio would give up the #20 pick, but if they would I think Utah would have to take it. Blair for the #9 pick sounds good to me if I am the Jazz, but If I could get San Antonio to throw in the #20 pick or a future 1st round pick I would do it.

OhCanada-ParticipantI think that San Antonio is happy with Dejaun Blair. They dont seem like the kind of organization that leaves you thinking “what if”. There will be no “what if San Antonio kept Dejaun Blair” statements in the future.

tjc23ParticipantBlair and Milsap would be way to small to play together witch they would have to do they are strong but look at what the lakers did to boozer and milsap they were dominated.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantWow…The 9th pick for Blair? Really?
I’m starting to think Utah fans don’t know Basketball.

White ChocolateParticipantBlair is a proven player and since you don’t like it that much than what about Blair, the #20 pick, and a future 1st round pick for the #9 pick?

JazzinSLCParticipantBecause of his lack of ACL’s in his knees. That concern still exists for them, even though he had a nice rookie year. There team doctors have told them to not take a chance on Blair.
