    espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/10711428/spencer-dinwiddie-colorado-buffaloes-leaning-entering-nba-draft

"Colorado junior point guard Spencer Dinwiddie is leaning heavily toward leaving for the NBA, multiple sources told ESPN.

The 6-foot-6 Dinwiddie, who tore the ACL in his left knee Jan. 12 against Washington, likely will forgo his final college season — unless the NBA evaluation he receives back includes information that says he does not have a chance to go in the first round of the NBA draft.

"I don’t think his stock changes," one NBA general manager said. "Guys come back from torn ACLs all the time — and it’s not as if he was super-athletic.""

As a Colorado fan, this isn’t surprising (and isn’t really any new information but I still wanted your guys’ take).  I don’t see how he can be a first rounder when he was a borderline first rounder before the injury but Andre Roberson went First Round and I was sure he wouldn’t be.  Where do you guys see him going?  How do you see him panning out?  Any possibility he gets told that there’s no way he goes 1st round?

I don’t understand that quote though, how does a stock not change when no one is able to see him at the combine and see how he has healed.

Well at the combine, teams do extensive medical checks on every prospect and would have a better understanding of how his knee looks at that point. Still don’t see him as a 1st rounder in this draft, especially if certain guys we don’t necessarily think will declare actually do (Hollis Jefferson, Dekker, Kaminsky, etc).

Really tough for him to make the first round, not necessarily because of the injury, but mostly because a lot of players have emerged as surefire first rounders or have improved their stock since he tore his ACL, and he was considered a bubble first rounder even before the injury. Stauskas, Warren, Early, Kyle Anderson, Nurkic, Capela, Payne, Napier, Hairston, Payton, Harrell, Jordan Adams, KJ McDaniels, Nick Johnson, Deonte Burton and so on. They all significantly improved their draft stocks.
